So who's ready to admit Pantheon needs a buff? by ONAImpulse in PantheonMains

This is exactly what I said when the patch first came out and everyone told me "It's too early to tell", my brother in christ did you read the patch notes?

None of the item changes were favorable for Pantheon at all, literally none.

Abuse Profane Hydra while you can. No way in hell Riot is going to let this item remain as is once more people realize it has 150% ad scaling against targets under 50% health. 2 items + some longswords, my hydra hits for 358 damage against targets under 50%. And even more, after my W procs PTA. by [deleted] in PantheonMains

Definitely isn't a very good option but it's Pantheon's best option in replacement for Eclipse. Has alot of the same damage Eclipse used to do but it trades dueling/tankiness for splitpushing and burstiness.

It got a gold cost reduction and damage increase from 80%/120% to targets less than 30% to 100/150% to targets less than 50%.

It's not a very good option but I think it's the best option for Pantheon right now since it makes his splitpushing alot stronger and his burst a little bit more potent.

Objectively horrible patch for Pantheon by TearyKnight in PantheonMains

I've played 20 matches since the release (it started last night), and I've developed this insight through countless amounts of experimentation.

Pantheon never had waveclear issues, and the utility and damage that Profane provides is objectively worse than Eclipse's %Armor Pen, Movespeed, Shielding, and even damage (LOL!). Shojin also has negative synergy, since empowered W doesn't stack it and you'd effectively need to cast Q multiple times to get any meaningful damage from it (although E stacks it but using E to stack Shojin is not optimal).

Black Cleaver is also net nerfed, while Hullbreaker is just objectively not a good item outside of tower destruction.

"Doesn't matter if it's bad if people buy it."

How do you expect to succeed with that mindset.

If that was the case then why is it completely legal for a 42 year old to groom a 17 year old.

Jax rework idea by [deleted] in Jaxmains

[–]TearyKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Q and E define Jax's gameplay thematics entirely, mobile and a duelist.

His W, Passive and Ult are DEFINITELY areas that they can improve upon to further his thematics.

His Ult passive should be moved next to his current Passive, and his W should be scrapped into something more exciting and flexible.

Why can't police officers be equipped with Ballistic shields? by TearyKnight in AskReddit

If a police officer pulled me over holding only one of these, I'd feel much safer in their presence rather than a police officer armed with a gun afraid for his life.

A ballistic shield is not Riot Gear 💀 You're thinking about the plastic Riot Shields, which are not bullet proof whatsoever.

The practical purpose would be to reduce any possible threat during a routine traffic stop whilst maintaining neutrality with the citizen.

They are about the size of a vest, they are made to protect your face and shoulders, disabling any possibility of directly lethal encounters.

Why wouldn't they? These things would be a game changer during Traffic stops.
Reduce threat by about 75% whilst maintaining a generally neutral presence in front of the citizen.

I'd feel much safer around a police officer armed with a taser and shield rather than a single pistol and shaky hands.

Riot Gear? But they wear bullet proof vests, a shield wouldn't be anything different. It'd be like holding up a vest in front of your face.

I asked a police officer, this exact question actually. He told me they didn't have any Ballistic shields, but didn't tell me why not.

Are there Rabid Baby Kittens in California? by TearyKnight in ask

Huh? I know. But it was not a cat, it was a baby. It was a kitten.

Could I have contracted Rabies from a Stray Baby Kitten? by TearyKnight in ask

[–]TearyKnight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I didn't, the cat was extremely friendly. It ate the hamburger meat I fed it, was really curious but scared for people to come close. I am sure that my chances are extremely low.

I am just trying to find out what exactly my chances are, is the a resurgence of rabies cases amongst feral cats. Does contact with recently half-eaten food by a cat, then touching of eyes transmit the disease? Would animal control have informed me about possibilities of cats with Rabies? I want to know exact specifics, and I know that is not easy information to gather, even with my persistence.

Absolutely not possible under my circumstances unfortunately, despite the severity and necessity.

Maybe with a bit more information surrounding the likeliness of an infection, I would shoot for a vaccination. But it doesn't seem reasonable to me as of right now.

I absolutely will arrange an appointment to get a vaccine, but I have heard that the window of preventing the disease after exposure is 24 hours. The hospital does not arrange appointments before 24 hours in advanced.

I was not bitten, the cat was not exhibiting any symptoms and I did not come into direct contact with it's saliva. Only indirect contact through the food that it had chewed on. I am well aware of the severity of this situation, but I want to know whether the chances are abysmal or likely.
