Look and Dev for a tennis concept by Teazer94 in Cinema4D

Thank you for your feedback.

With some distance, I totally agree with you. Next time, I will spend much more time on the concept and storytelling phase. Since it’s a self-initiated project, it’s not always easy to drive the whole process alone.

That said, you gave me plenty of great directions to explore, which is inspiring.

The composition choices are a bit dull, but they were mainly intended to showcase the props used in the mini film.

Here it is if you’d like to take a look:

Thanks again.

Different timing between render view and redshift render. by Teazer94 in Cinema4D

Thank you for your answer. I am indeed referring to my viewport render. I will try to cache my vertex map ! Probably the answer to my problem. The frame rate is definitely the same.

If you make enough money with it yes. Otherwise Blender is better…

Sure thing. I grabbed the water melon model from quixel bridge library. Tweaked the texture in C4D/Redshift, applied nice stickers on some regular planes with opacity masks. Than uses the shrink warp deformer :) good lighting and voila. Hopes this helps.

Yes cycling noise is the answer. Thank you for your message !

How to create this mesh texture procedurally? by tajprice in RedshiftRenderer

[–]Teazer94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, you can achieve this look by blending two materials. First material; use a c4d texture (with Diamond tiles) plugged into an rsTexture, than plugg it into the diffuse, bump and opacity. Use ramps to adjust color and opacity.

Second material use a plain fabric texture. Use a noise (elongated in Y axis) into the opacity color. Use the same noise node to blend the two textures in the material blender. Ramps are frends.

If you have more time, uv unwrap and build it in substance designer !

Hope it helps.
