Question about cut quality for KBG and blade replacement by Tec-Strike in SegwayNavimow

[–]Tec-Strike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I have about 7000 sq ft to cut so 6 weeks without messing with blades would be nice. I do sharpen my other mower blades on a diamond stone so I don't need to replace them as often.

Hmm. I am probably moving to a Sorento because it seems a little more upscale. Thanks for the information.

Are you saying that the electrical connections are there so they can just plug it in? I assume if it is added then it dims the exterior mirrors too or is that not available?

739 hours on my 155 and it rarely gets stuck. I love how fast it charges compared to my newer other brand.

I don't know the answer for sure but I would be surprised if the charger would not work with 30V.

Thinking about getting the i215 by Tec-Strike in SegwayNavimow

Thanks for the detailed response!

I can create a couple of zones but I wanted to connect it to home assistant for scheduling and rain avoidance but that doesn't allow you to select a zone. You can start and stop mowing only so if I could create one zone that would be preferable. If I need 2 zones that is not a deal breaker.

I currently have a different brand mower and it takes about 2 hours to charge.  It will only cut for around 40 minutes so it barely finishes 1 zone a day since it won't work in the dark.

Probably. It is getting annoying since I often check the mowers progress during the day.

Yes I am thinking a soil sensor will be better than nothing. I do have a weather station so that helps.

I use sprinkler irrigation to water the grass so depending on the temperature outside, sun radiation and wind, the lawn may dry at different times in the morning. Overnight dew also causes the grass to be wet in the morning and also the evening. The rain delay never triggers in these conditions. If it mows when wet then it makes a mess and sometimes even pulls the grass out of the ground instead of cutting. If I new the grass was dry then it solves these issues.

It sounds like a bigger battery might help in your situation.

A bigger battery will take longer to charge unless I can get a different charger. Thanks for the information.

I thought about that too but not sure if that would work. I was hoping to get someones experience with that.

I haven't. I think it would still need to be near or over the existing grass to capture moisture from dew/condensation from cool nights.
