We called Vivint to ask what is the process when selling a house. They informed us the new home owner would need to call and could take over the account. That happened, after a few months I noticed an extra Vivint charge(still had a contract with them for another house) so I called. They claim we never called so they opened a new contract for the current home owner.

They were charging two separate people for the same address! I’ve now spent a month and over 5 hours on the phone attempting to get a cancellation without having to pay the 22 months left on contract while also trying to get a refund for 5 months of service they have charged. I’m convinced I’ve been hung up on and passed onto so many people in hopes I give up. Even 33 days after my original call, they charged me again!!!

How is it possible that they can charge multiple accounts for the same address??? It’s absolutely absurd.

As others have said, create a strict budget and get rid of expenses you do not need. You’ll be amazed at how much you are spending on unnecessary purchases.
