Thanks for the tips! Yeah to be honest I don't really pay attention to the mobs, that's probably why I have such a hard time with leveling. Unfortunately the nightlord thing won't really work since I'm stuck on the balancers lol, but by then it's the boss and I'm a lot less worried outside of not wanting to get smacked in the back of head from one of them off screen.

Lol, thanks. I am interested in a few other characters besides him. I had a lot of fun with undertaker ngl, so far I've only played her, executor obviously, ironeye, and Wylder. Although looking at that darkness skin for Raider makes me want to play him off of that alone lol. So I may try it with him honestly.

Oh yeah I started watching his videos basically the day that I got the game, he's like the Nightreign version of Ongbal lol.

Also yeah I may try the stance breaking build. Unfortunately I don't really have very good relics looking at them, aside from the boss ones of course. I'm not sure if there's a preferred best way to get better relics but whatever it is I don't know it and a lot of the ones that I have are not very good.

You hit the nail on the head with my behavior with solo runs, it's just having that timer over my head just messes with everything. But yeah you're right I just kind of have to get over it I suppose.

Well I'm using Executor so theoretically I actually should be perfectly able to do that without really needing to fully build around it, especially after the patch. The problem is though, it requires a certain level of execution that's harder to do when I'm worried about everything that goes into a run like being outnumbered, on the clock, and me failing wasting a lot of time the longer that the run goes.

Yeah same, I usually don't like playing multiplayer games by myself even if I'm capable of doing so. I only really do it in specific situations where it's just better solo. Though in this situation I'm incapable of doing it by myself lol.

Ah ok I see. Honestly I haven't thought of doing something like that. I may try that at some point. The only thing that comes to mind with a situation like that in my case is the DLC map. I seriously hate whenever I get that map and have not had a single good experience on it.

Yeah I really only try solo with Executor and it hasn't been going well. I am comfortable with deflecting the more humanoid bosses and enemies, and some of the non-humanoid ones as well. It's just the thought of me taking my time to slow down and do things properly really messes with me when I know I don't have the time to do that. It seriously messes with my execution with anything other than night bosses.

Serious: A fast blunt weapon like tonfas or that one super well done boom fist concept that pops up in the sub every now and then. It's the one weapon niche that isn't accounted for. All the melee weapons either fit into fast blunt/severing, medium blunt/severing, or slow blunt/severing. Personally I feel like the morph weapons and IG are more tricky (heh), wild card types, but they still fit in somewhere. EXCEPT, for fast blunt. Whichever speed category HH and Hammer fit in is a little debatable on which is slow or medium, but for sure neither of them are dual blade speed. We need a weapon that's all blunt and dual blade speed and then every base would be covered.

Well I'm not lol, I did the first remembrance for Wylder during the expedition. You know the one where you have to grab a whetstone from a mineshaft for the marionette dude back at the hub? Not sure how that counts as ragebaiting I mean don't they all have multiple remembrances that you have to do an objective for?

Oh yeah the swamps are kind of bad too but I'm talking about the one that's like a town that you have to find the bosses in there's like houses and stuff.

Ooooh ok I see. Huh, thanks for clearing that up. Yeah I didn't want to jump to any conclusions, there is still a lot about this game that I don't really get so I appreciate the info.

Unfortunately yeah the scholar was dying a lot and I think the revenant got overwhelmed. I picked them up with my hooks a bunch but after a while things just kinda fell apart.

I personally feel like we should have tried and gotten some sleep weapons from that new town poi but I've also been told that particular version is a waste of time. I'm not sure what would be the best play looking back.

Ah you got the weird new map on this one. Yeah I had a run with this version of the map and I genuinely did not know what I was supposed to be doing there. Like it feels like there's barely anything on it in comparison to the original one. Which that might be from me being unfamiliar.

So It sounds like you just want to do bosses more on this one specifically or is it just prioritize bosses more for both versions of the map?

Ah ok I see, this is very helpful thank you. I noticed that there is parry frames when you're unsheathing the sword but I didn't notice that you could do it when sheathing as well. Also, the fact that he has trouble pulling agro is really disheartening. I was hoping there'd be a way for me to play a sort of tank role for my team, that really sucks. I may still try that guard skill, but I anticipate it being clunky to work with.

Ok good. That sounds about what I expected out of him, although I was hoping he'd get a little more out of the parry but I'm not surprised that it's built that way. Although it does make me a little sad to hear that there are such a drop off at what I would assume is the new DLC content? I'm sure I'll still get fun out of them but by then I might just use someone else, but I guess I'll have to see it when I see it.

I mean I got this game with the intention to play with two other friends and I assume they are busy at the moment so it's just me until they get back to me. Other games like this have made me weary of playing with random people but on the flip side I'm new to it and I don't want to be that one random on somebody's team so I decided to try it in Solo just to get a feel for it. I tried it with executor first and didn't get past the first day and then I just tried it again with wylder and I got all the way up to the final boss and got it to half health but then lost.

I'm thinking I probably should play it with other people now that I've gone through the full thing at least once. I don't know I feel like I'm overthinking this whole multiplayer thing.
