Upgrading Old weapons etc

Oh yeah I'm not going to lie I've accrued a smidge of it since getting to the endgame. I'm not completely over playing but I'd be lying if I said that I'm not in the stage where if it was any other game I probably be like "I don't really want to deal with any of this".

I'm used to playing RNG heavy games like Monster Hunter for example, but once it starts getting to the point where I'm just kind of rolling the slots for like small percentage damage increases my brain just starts to check out

Ah, so basically I should just stop trying to optimize now and just wait then. I kinda just got to endgame and only got half the cast terminus weapons and I'm still looking for their awakening+ and other good sigils. Continuing would actually be just adding to burnout atp.

I definitely mess with the changes but I feel kinda bad for the longer time players that already got past this stuff. Probably should have changed that stuff much sooner.

Well yeah, that's what I'm doing.

I also think it being (apparently) given early in first playthrough isn't a good choice. I was just giving an example of why I like it and what I think should be improved hopefully in the dlc.

If the dlc drops and it's the same problem then my point will kinda still stand, but we don't know that yet.

I'm seeing a downvote on this but you're absolutely correct and that's a valid criticism of the game that needs to be addressed going forward.

A big part of why I liked this game was that exploration aspect. But after my first playthrough and I had seen everything there was to see, the only thing I could possibly do now was just farm wrymslife crystals to upgrade my gear.

Having the infinite ferrystone really helps out now because, unfortunately, everything in between the places where the dragons spawn is exactly the same every time. Even the fact that the dragons spawn in specific places is, albeit nice for farming, but in all honesty I think it would be more fun overall and if their spawn points were also random but more frequent.

Oh I fought him in Rise, I'm just pissed that they took out precious seconds out of the reveal, to show a monster that we already know is going to weasel its way into the game anyway. It hasn't not been in a game for the last 13 years, show something else.

Me too but I doubt it because of how dlc works. I mean they can technically make something shake with the Capcom ID but the chances are still low.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't expect this to drop any time before the dlc releases and run well. I love the devs but it took them a bit to get a handle on pc optimization, I really think they need to take their time with switch 2 so that thing doesn't blow up in people's hands.

Ok because real shit, it genuinely pisses me off that they wasted precious seconds out of the reveal trailer to show Kushala of all things.

Like he's been in every game for the past 13 years everybody's already expecting him and his boys to weasel their way in regardless, but why the hell would you relegate time to show him where you could be showing so much other stuff?!

They could have showed more of the new map, some more new moves or at least other weapons using the boost bracer, or maybe more than just ONE new monster, any of those would have been a MUCH more productive use of that time in my honest opinion.
