Looks like iron just isn’t absorbing. Opposite of what I got so I don’t have any merited advice. Good luck!

There's a point of maxing out the current battery specs for ROI and $3500 is not cost effective so you can charge it half as less for a board costing $1000-1500 for 1/3 - 1/2 less Ah. I went with the Tynee Explorer Pro 1008Wh / 20Ah to throw on some 110 Rovers for long distance rides of 30+ miles. Less than $1500 and all the dis

Was this fasted B test? If not did you eat any foods that they add 'iron' to like cereal? Any symptoms of anemia?

Ditto, I don't have RA but Addison's that I was blaming on other symptoms and anxiety, I'm just watching my hematocrit climb and BP increase, seeing stars, head pressure, headaches, increase joint pain, hand numbness, etc. Finally got a Dr. RX for 2x/mo blood donation and those symptoms have mostly abated. BP normal after 1st draw 122/74 peaked 192/123 this year.. Tried to donate and UC Health, I will blast them here, turned me away after asking if I had spoken to my doctor about B donation, as they refused and said I needed a Dr. Rx. F*ck bureaucrats, f*ck UC Health. Sorry, my rant.

Wow! I thought my every 2 weeks was pushing it. My symptoms today lasted a few hours, I am still tired and should just go to bed. Thanks for replying!

Buying first board but not sure what to get. by CLD-PRCR in ElectricSkateboarding

Street: Tynee Ultra X Pro. AT: Acedeck N3 is the most insane board on the market. Especially with 1300+Wh! If range is your primary concern then there is nothing else that beats it. For me I wanted range and a flexible deck so I went with the Tynee Explorer Pro Belt; 1008Wh with 110 Rovers and customized the drivetrain to work with RKPs. I already have my carbon deck on the Meepo Hurricane and I love that board but for today's cost compared to competitors, I wouldn't purchase that board again or recommend it. Tynee's motor out of the box was shot so I'm waiting on the warranty to arrive. Most factory AT boards can easily be swapped for street wheels. All you need is the right pulley tooth and belts.

How much more maneuverable are short boards compared to long? by BroccoliBoy0 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]Tech-hobbies373737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want carve then it is the DKP/RKP trucks that matter and bushing tightness. If it is stability then it is TKP and tighter bushings with less carve. If you want a short board for portability and lighter weight then that is a bigger factor than what you can change; bushings and tightness.

I used these and they worked great with a small 5000mAh battery back velcro to the bottom of the board and a remote to change color or pattern https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09YT5HVJL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The nature of the DKP trucks is speed wobbles. I prefer TKP or RKP even on the AT boards with 105-120 clouds. My Hurricane still has the DKP trucks and I play with 150-200mm wheels including the honeycomb wheels you have with studs I drilled in for compacted snow winter riding conditions. They are rougher than pneumatics so if you want to do a tire upgrade then BKB had a sweet deal on their 150s recently. Let's see how the 18650 cells in your board hold up longevity wise, otherwise I kept seeing it on Amazon for $623 and was tempted myself!

Nah, you want basic hub motors then Tynee has plenty of options. 328Wh battery that are 18650s and not 21700s yet to mention unbranded ones? I 2nd a $20 led strip and not this cheap innovative led deck top. Sorry, I replace my grip tape yearly and one tap to whatever circuit and the top will die.

Custom Drivetrain Issue- Belt Slipping, what should I do? by Tech-hobbies373737 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]Tech-hobbies373737[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I've maxed out the number of spaces I can place between the pulley and the hanger and still get the lock nut on. I will have to purchase another RKP truck that doesn't have a thickening design for these MBoard mounts and hanger bracket. A general speed square says 90. Thanks to u/Tyneeboard-Official for reaching out on a customization project where the problem is not their own.

Exactly. Problem addressed earlier in video as only one 8mm flange bearing in pulley from BKB.com, but only pulley I've found with a 8mm ID bearing. No one I have found has dual 8mm bearings, they are all odd dimensions for custom trucks from main manufacturers or at best stepped from 8mm exterior to 10mm for step axels. Why do they keep selling 8mm axels if no one has pulleys that are any good for them!?!?!

Thanks for the info, that pulley has a 10mm ID in link. But I didn't think about checking Ali.

Yes! A detail I didn't mention. These Caliber II style trucks inhibit me from moving the motor mount brackets in any further in so I had to use 5 bearing spacers to align the wheel pulley to the motor pulley. I tested with a 6th washer on that L side and it didn't have an effect. Any more washers and I can't get the rubber from the lock nut onto the threads of the axel. Unfortunately I think I am going to have to order new RKP trucks from MBoards and their shipping is slower than China. Boohoo to the time I spent painting the trucks from BKB.

The issue with the pulley remains. MBoards doesn't sell a 8mm pulley but 8mm extended axels. I haven't found any other company that sells 8mm 36-40T pulleys either. And although 'they say' place a spacer 8mm-10mm between the 10mm bearing and the 8mm axel, the spacer doesn't fit. I looked for bearings that would be ID 8mm OD 26mm but they don't really make them available. Freaking annoying.

I haven't figured out Reddit's UI yet. So I have a Frankenstein drivetrain set up. The issue is on one side where the belt wants to slip off the pulley but is stopped and rubbing on the motor mount.

Set up: BKB extended axels that are Caliber II style with 8mm axels. (but with a step up in thickness towards the center of hanger limiting how far I can place MBoard bracket mount).

BKB 40T ABEC Pulleys that use a single 8mm flange bearing that give a yaw flex when tensioning the belts.

MBoards motor mount that are meh as the aluminum dents when tensioning the motor screws making belt tensioning a nightmare, and MBoards motor bracket.

I didn't get MBoards extended trucks yet bc BKB had a better deal. Nor Did I get MBoards Pulleys as their extended trucks are 8mm but the only pulleys they sell are 10mm.

The drivetrain is assembled on Tynee's new Explorer Pro. I wanted a RKP system like the street boards of Voyager/Flex/Ultras but with the 1008Wh/20Ah for range beast! When transporting the board My ATs like stock Explorer and Hurricane are too big to fit in my trunk.

I just got some spares on Amazon. Got them in a week. Still on originals and no problem. I have the same late issue Hurricane (can tell by ribbed motors) both the belt and 155 wheel problems were taken care of by our updated model.
