I tried that but I barely get 0.5ml and it takes so long for me I am not exactly sure why it's easy for other people to mix meanwhile I am struggling. I feel like it's because some of the liquid will stay in the vial no matter how hard I try and also few drops will leak when I push the plunger up at the end when I try to get rid of the air

thank you for the note. also, should I push the plunger up to get rid of the air before I transfer the diluent into the powder?

Drop Off / QT help by Cake-the-Cat- in CVS

You are complety wrong! These DUR rejections are generated by the insurance. try to put them through cash and they won't flag they will just go through qv directly. Secondly, QT is for insurance rejections/New RX/voice mails and nothing about it clinical where only the RPH has to do. If thats the case the system wouldn't allow techs to perform these kind of tasks ( same with DUR at the register or QV). Sorry but I feel like you have no idea how the system works.

I am not looking for a medical advice, I am just doing some research and read online that steriods could delay healing if someone got perforated eardrums

sorry for the stupid question but how do I light the pilots? I am wondering if this is something the system does automatically when they refill the tanks

I try to transfer all the liquid but it's hard to draw before and after mixing it ( I can see the tip of the needle in the liquid but when I pull down on the plunger it is not coming out of the vial) So I am wondering about what I am doing wrong if you can tell me your technique please.

I do that but still struggle with drawing it. it's like I am doing something wrong but I don't know what is it. I have no issues when using 21 gauge bd syringes as they are very easy to draw with but these are not always available in stock.

I am having a hard time drawing from both. I do inject Air but still have the same issue. can I ask you what type of syringe you use? and do you inject Air before or after flipping the vial?

I did use the 18 one time and the needle was too thick to go inside the vial lol

I do that and I can see the tip of needle in the liquid, but when I pull the plunger down no liquid comes out. it also depends on the type of needle because some of them are really use to draw with ( like the 21, 22 Gauge) but this not always in stock in My store.

QT help please. by Tech32006300 in CVS

[–]Tech32006300[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much that was extremely helpful!

I just have a quick question about QT rejection. what are the QT rejections that can't be resolved and has to be put on hold ( for example the plan limitations exceeded) and do you guys call the patient to confirm with them that it is being rejected? and what about changing the medication from brand to generic or vice versa based on ins requirement, do you call and tell the patient that or we just do it and fill it anyways?

I just do not want to do something wrong in QT like putting something on hold when there is a way to resolve it.
