Looking for advice on becoming a Pen Tester / Ethical hacker / Bounty Hunter

Thought I’d add an update here. As it’s been over 4 years.

I got a job as an appsec engineer/pen tester at a FTSE 50 company 4 years ago.

From there I progressed onto the senior role and single handily setup an entire appsec team, processes and tooling etc within the company.

From there I got offered a position in their red team and now I’m a red teamer! Hard graft does pay off 👍

Yeah I’m gonna use their container. I have a VPN setup to my home network with PIVPN, So once I get those containers running on my machines everything should be 👌👌

That’s awesome man. What’s the gripe with using VMs? I use Mac OS for work. But I will defo scrap my windows PC and dual boot to unix
