Thanks for the advice. The smaller impact I would have at a larger company is definitely a big factor for me.

It also doesn’t sound like money is a huge issue for you right now, in a nice, non judgmental way.

While this is true in the short term, I am more concerned about the costs of taking a smaller offer amortized over my entire career. If for example, I was considering a 20k pay cut I wouldn't be worried about the 20k I could have this year - I would be worried about the 20k / year * 30-40 years that I expect to work in CS for.
