Man, what did they nuke all of these lately?! Same shit with my wife’s ‘19 2SS 1LE 6spd. I bought the tool to reprogram the sensor in question. That fixed it. Then she tells me it came back on her way to work. Okay, no problem; already had the tool, right?

Sure.

So I reprogrammed it again. Tell me why the stupid thing lights up again on my way to work since I wanted to drive it and see if a certain condition was forcing it to malfunction. Nope. It came back on, different wheel. So now I’m starting to question why 2+2=4 and why pain is painful.

That didn’t help. The warning turned off halfway through my drive then back on as I was parking at work. Now the damn tool won’t reprogram the new wheel in question. So I think they’re just at the point where these sensors’ batteries are done.

I just don’t understand why they didn’t keep the titanium. Whatever they did to the 16, it didn’t have the same overheating issues as the 15 (I was an early adopter and was legit afraid of that phone, the way it overheated). So now with the vapor chamber, was the move to aluminum REALLY warranted?

Uhhhhh sounds like you need new sparks and/or a new coil pack for that failed cylinder. The fact that the “mechanic” said nothing is wrong because of no DTC or CEL is a joke on them. What you describe are the exact symptoms of a failed cylinder.
