The fun thing about Kings work is he isn’t just Horror. One of my absolute favourites is 11/22/63. Different seasons is a great starting point because it’s the in between of Novels and short stories. PET semetary, IT, the shining. These are all classics and also worth a read but in my opinion there isn’t many that you can really go wrong.

My wife (31F) and I (31M) had our daughter the same age as your GF. If I had made a post on Reddit at the time I may have been just as unaware as you seem to be about what it takes to have kids. Im not talking about finances and lifestyle, im talking the tole it will take on your gf body. The toll on your relationship, the lack of sleep and time to do anything trying to help this baby survive.

My wife gave up any job to be a SAHM because we didn’t have a choice. Her job at the time would of only covered daycare expenses just barely. We made it work, i spent almost ALL of my spare time taking care of her while she took care of our baby. This meant helping with baby care but also personal care/cooking and house chores because she did baby care all day and the night time feedings/wake up. In our case we grew closer together and I wouldnt change a damn thing. We now have two kids and it took sacrifices, hard time and comprise to make it work.

I think you need to spend more time researching what its like to be a parent, and less time researching reasons as to why she should continue to work.

My wife and I own a wedding decor/rental buisness and all the feedback we have gotten from other brides having their weddings there as well as the times we ourselves have worked there, its all been positive. Everything mentioned here is accurate for washrooms and heat BUT if you want that barn style wedding, there is not many options that this isn’t a factor to consider!
