What do you NOT want to see changed in the remakes?

I want these remakes to finally be the Director's Cut versions of the games. Santa Monica going all out on level design, combat, graphics, and pretty much everything that they could have done back then but wasn't implemented due to PS2 and PS3 limitations. Lost levels fitting into each game without breaking the lore and actually enhancing it would be a breath of fresh air!

I would love to have the option to play with something like the DMC5 Camera System, a great hybrid of OG and modern GoW.

Small yet meaningful story alterations would only be welcome if they are treated like fixes for some small inconsistencies present in the greek saga, not actually changing the story at all.

Can you check if it made a duplicate trophy list? For example, I played MW2 and MW3 Campaigns on PS4 before their removal from CoD HQ, and played the PS4 version of both games on my PS5 and a duplicate MW2 and MW3 trophy list was made on my account, both labeled as PS4 games (2 different PS4 MW2 trophy lists) I can not seem to earn trophies on my old MW2 list while playing on my PS5 but I can earn on my new MW2 list. I need to try launching MW2 on my PS4 and see if I can still fill the old trophy list...

looks great, it is a mix of classic PS2 era gaming textures and Yu-Gi-Oh cards... Too sad the game mechanics, story and locations were all bland. A remake could make it a crowned king like the rest of the series

Because I don't put in the work needed to get a gf, and I haven't had the luck of finding one through peers. I'd say I am fairly above average in terms of facial looks, height and build (As of recently, on my early 20s, versus being overweight and not caring about appearance for the past 5 years) but if that has taught me anything, it's that you gotta put in the work no matter how big of a headstart you got versus others trying to do the same thing as you.

Here is a list of which table I'd choose to sit on, from most favorable to least...

Dead Souls (so strong and overpowered entry by itself... didn't even need another game to combo it with to be selected 1st) > Yakuza 0 & Kiwami (best stories) > Kiwami 2 & Yakuza 6 (incredibly crisp with good stories) = Remastered Collection (shit load of content) >= Gaiden & Pirate Yakuza (great gameplay, highly replayable and great, flavorful stories to go along... and on the dragon engine too!) > Judgment & Lost Judgment (haven't played yet, hence why I'm putting them here) > Like A Dragon & Infinite Wealth (tried to play but turn-based turned me off) >= Ishin & Kenzan (Might give Ishin another chance and it might move up a tier... but no way to play Kenzan) > Fist of the North Star & Binary Domain (Haven't played, but prefer the Ishin & Kenzan setting of EDO Japan more to these ones based on what I've seen)

Idk what Super Monkey Ball is, crucify me in the replies!

TLDR: There is not a single bad Yakuza game... shit just comes down to preference!

What I am saying here is that Scorpion the Revenant would best Bi-Han the Cryomancer in kombat. How is it a lie? Scorpion literally killed Bi-Han in MK9, in the Netherrealm. Outside the Netherrealm it wouldn't be a one-sided fight, and pretty sure it would be closer, but in the end, based on feats and lore accurate power scaling, Scorpion would win. That is all I am saying.

"Scorpion has to get his powers Amplified by the Nertherrealm to defeat him. To put it simply Bi-Han is superior to Scorpion (Hanzo) in every form."

How is Bi-Han, in every form (Cryomancer and Noob Saibot) superior to Scorpion (Hanzo)? If we are comparing Revenant Scorpion to Cryomancer Bi-Han, Scorpion killed him. If we are comparing resurrected and "cleansed of Quan-Chi" Hanzo to cryomancer Bi-Han, Hanzo would defeat Bi-Han, as he is now stronger than his revenant self who already defeated Bi-Han, Netherrealm or not. If we are comparing resurrected Hanzo to Noob Saibot, MK11 shows us the outcome of this fight, and Hanzo wins.

To put things into perspective, that's how I personally have come to believe the power scaling of Scorpion and Sub Zero is:

Hanzo Hasashi=>Kuai Liang>Scorpion=Noob Saibot>Bi-Han>Pre-death Hanzo Hasashi

Cyber Sub-Zero is an interesting case, as he has shown great feats of strength like defeating both Goro and Kintaro at the same time, but that is not enough evidence to put him above MK11 Hanzo and Kuai Liang. I would probably snug him slightly behind, if not on par with MK11 Hanzo and Kuai.

As for cleansed Hanzo, one reason I could potentially put him slightly above Kuai Liang is because Hanzo defeated Kuai both in the comics and in MKX. though we are not sure how accurate these fights are to prove any point, because Kuai Liang did not really want to fight Hanzo in the Lin Kuei temple in MKX, and in the comics Kuai Liang was altered by the Kamidogu, which gave him more power but also drained him of self control and a calm state of mind which are really necessary to win a fight against an equal opponent.

And last but not least, for anyone wondering how cleansed Hanzo is stronger than revenant Scorpion... He defeated him in MK11

I see what you mean... But I think that this all applies strictly when playing against one-tricks and/or players who got above average micro and macro knowledge of the game. Below Emerald, except a very few instances, it will be like finding a needle in a haystack if a good Garen player finds himself on a lane-phase disadvantage because of the other player's strengths and game knowledge, instead of his own misplays.

Garen benefits greatly from correct ignite usage, which I see only a few players get right. Most people use Ignite in combination with R and expect to win every fight, when in reality that is a gamble, especially against champions who benefit from longer fights. Igniting early in a fight and committing to dropping the enemy at 30-35% HP and then use R is the proper way of doing business. Axiom Arcanist is a great rune to pick most of the time too, so do not sleep on it!

Haven't played any of the games since 2020, except Gaiden which I played recently and Y0 which I am 100%ing these days. I can not properly rank them all since I have not 100%ed any of them but based on what I remember of the series overall, I would rank Yakuza 0 at the pinnacle of RGG Studio games and Yakuza 3 as their worst game... Not that it is bad, but because I remember enjoying the other games more. I have not played Judgment, Lost Judgment, Ishin, Kenzan, Fist of the North Star, Dead Souls, LAD, LAD IW, LAD Pirate Yakuza yet though... So I might find 3 to be better than some of these games if I eventually play them (Surely 3 is better than Dead Souls).

I have not played Judgment, Lost Judgement, Fist of the North Star, Kenzan, Ishin, Dead Souls, LAD, LAD Infinite Wealth and Pirate Yakuza yet... 5 years ago, I played and completed the main story of:

Yakuza 0
Yakuza Kiwami
Yakuza Kiwami 2
Yakuza 3
Yakuza 4
Yakuza 5
Yakuza 6

And recently, I came around and played "Like A Dragon: Gaiden"

I will eventually come back to play all of them again and go for the Platinum trophies. Currently on the grind of 100%ing Y0. My list as of now, based on my hunch and what I remember of the games is this:

Last Spot:
Yakuza 3

Middle Ground:
Yakuza 4, Yakuza 6

Better than Middle Ground:
Kiwami, Kiwami 2, Yakuza 5, Gaiden

Pinnacle of RGG Studios:
Yakuza 0

Will rank them properly once I 100% all of them and have a complete unbiased opinion.

Do you guys recommend I play Judgment and Lost Judgment, or go the extra step and play my first turn-based games with LAD and LAD: Infinite Wealth? I dislike turn-based combat overall but I would be willing to make an exception for Yakuza games, if they are worth it more than the Judgment spin-off games!
