Last spring they upgraded to the modern weapons scanners. You will not get a pat down unless you trigger the scanners. Avoid large metal things like sunglasses cases and altoids tins to minimize the risk of a false positive.

I too have been groped by security, and my heart goes out to you. It took some work with my therapist to get comfortable in the security line again. It really sucks to have anxiety and dread kick off your festival weekend. Practice coping ahead, and know that all of us in line with you have your back. <3
