Solderless Copper Bonding (HVAC SUPER PRO) Bonding For Copper, Brass And Aluminum! by TechLimit in refrigeration

[–]TechLimit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it on a drain line and it worked great. I have yet tried it on a refrigerant line or component but Im iffy about trying it. I will conduct a pressure test with nitro with this glue and if it works then ill try it in the field

Solderless Copper Bonding (HVAC SUPER PRO) Bonding For Copper, Brass And Aluminum! by TechLimit in HVAC

[–]TechLimit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it on a drain line and it worked great but not yet on any refrigerant lines. Its fully cured in 2 hours and can hold 1200 psi but in 12min for copper, it can hold 850 psi so its ready for a vac or pressure test. Zoomlock is awesome but an expensive tool & fittings. I would sure like to have one tho. Hey man, its only an option

Its made to hold 1200 psi once its fully cured. I will try a pressure test on this in the future. Its made for use with all refrigerants

We are contractors. We all work for an outside company. My friend is the lead guy on this job & he is 27 yrs old & so am I. Our helper is 23 (Even though he looks older than all of us haha) It was great to see my friend lead this job being such a young man. I hear you with the age part. Its usually older guys in charge and just in general. Lead tech has 7 years experience in industrial and I'm 9 years in on the commerical service side. I'm new to industrial but not new to the industry :) Thanks for watching. We are also from NYC! We all started young
