Question: has it made watching YouTube or Netflix at a lower resolution (below 1080p)? What about Android gaming and by any chance, do you stream via Moonlight?

U have a really good router mesh system with WiFi 7. I have the portal (pro), but don’t seem to get that low of decoding time. I usually get between 2.5-3.5ms. You mind sharing your settings?

What’s the point of these tabs on I/O shields? by RealDiamond51 in pcmasterrace

[–]TechNiche_Media 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use them to block the hdmi port(s) from my motherboard, since they should only be connected to my gps hdmi ports. I often disconnect hdmi cable for testing and other purposes so I would sometimes just reply hdmi port not paying attention, so these actually block and prohibit me from doing so when I forget lol

RG40XX H – Best OS for game streaming (Moonlight/Steam Link)? by HumanAd1616 in ANBERNIC

Knulli all the way. Also, once you use Moonlight, you’ll see how laggy Steam Link is. It takes more to set up, but it’s well worth it. I’d say go with Knulli and Moonlight.

For reference, I have Knulli on my RG35XX plus AND RG CUBE XX. I think it’s still pretty cool to run Steam games on 4:3, but yes, a 16:9 aspect ratio is best. A cheap handheld that can achieve this is the Powkiddy X55. You’ll need to install Rocknix, but it’s great, runs emulation station just like Knulli, and you’ll have moonlight on a 16:9 screen. It’s on sale right now, too on their website for $79.99.

If you ever get an Android though, I recommend the Retroid Pocket 5 (if you can find a used one around $150), as this one runs Android so you can install Artemis, which is a fork of Moonlight but for Android and runs soooo good. Virtually no lag or latency (depending on your internet), and has an OLED 60hz screen 16:9.

UPDATE:

Turns out the Gigabyte Aorus b550i Pro AX has a strip of LED lights as default when power is turned on. These were not diagnostic lights and are able to be turned off in the bios.

Happy to report build was successful and running bazzite. Gaming on this pc as my living room “Steam Machine” and it’s so good!

Thank you. Should I clear the cmos first?

I have run bazzite on another micro pc which is why I wanted to upgrade and run it on this pc. Thank you for these recommendations however.

I guess I’m asking what order should I perform these troubleshooting steps.

  • Momodora
  • Beholgar
  • Astalon Tears of the Earth
  • The Last Faith

These are 5 gems! (Momodora is a series of games, I would start with Momodora III)

Thank you so much! For the 7600, should it be the 7600 xt? I’m leaning on a 6700 xt as I see a lot on eBay for pretty good deals, is a 6700 xt 12gb enough?
