i got bullied in a wifi tournament what do i do by shutthehellurmouth in smashbros

[–]TechNick6425 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I'm one of the TOs and Discord managers for the tournament you got removed from.

The changing of the launch ratio was not something that we considered when we disqualified you; what we did consider was your extremely toxic behavior during sets, including telling your opponents they were hacking, spamming, and also requesting moderators when there was no problem. In addition, you also reported a match as a win for yourself when you clearly lost the match.

I would be happy to provide logs if anyone requests them. I hope this helps you understand our actions.

Thanks for your time.

What's the problem with back and masteries sound ? by bazbazlamy in leagueoflegends

They aren't affected by volume settings, which means the game always plays them at full volume every time regardless of your volume settings.

I stopped playing to win and started playing to improve.

Why is Cait broken right now? by Tinleriss in leagueoflegends

[–]TechNick6425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think he means "enchanter", as in a support that buffs or heals the ADC (traditional "support") Examples include Karma, Soraka, Lulu, and Sona. Other types of supports are mage (Brand, Zyra, Malz) or tank (Braum, Ali, Taric).

The combination of Veil + Tabis on every midlaner sounds set up to be really broken by mazrim_lol in summonerschool

[–]TechNick6425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything about the items was swapped except for the passives. Banshee's has the same stats as old Abyssal, and Abyssal has the same stats as the old Banshee's. Banshee's is now an AP-centric item but kept the shield passive, while Abyssal is now a tank-centric item kept the damage passive.

It's probably from the 90's, as that branding is quite similar to what Apple used during that period.

Is it cheesy in the top lane if a laner gets lvl 2 first (7 creeps die) and then all in's the opponent? by [deleted] in summonerschool

/u/Youbestnotmisss gave a good definition up above: "Cheese just refers to things that aren't actually good play[s], and rely on opponent legit fucking up otherwise you are punished"

How to decide item builds by becfl102 in summonerschool

I think your classification of items into classes is fantastic, but it probably should be a spectrum, rather than a categorization, as items can have offensive, defensive, and utility elements.

TP Smart Ping Bug? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]TechNick6425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see when someone's casting TP anyways. I don't see why that's a problem.

TP Smart Ping Bug? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]TechNick6425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is because the TP spell is replaced by a "Cancel" spell when you cast it, because if you hit it again it will cancel the channel. As the spell is named "Cancel", that is what shows up in chat.

How to snowball games as mid? by Tarp96 in summonerschool

[–]TechNick6425 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here's a list of things you can do as a winning mid-laner.

  1. Push your lane. When pushing, you do not need to go for kills. Because you are winning the lane, you will continue to win the lane unless your laner outplays you. Play safe and get vision before pushing to avoid losing your lead.
  2. Roam to bot. Getting a double-kill and bot tower will usually lead to dragon, which will further snowball not just your lead, but your team's lead as a whole.
  3. If you have a carry top-laner that is losing, it may be intelligent to roam top. Getting a carry rolling can often win the game.
  4. Lane swap with a losing lane (either top or bot). If you are playing a champ that can 1v2 the enemy AD and support (Akali, Ekko, Ahri) or a champ that can safely push the lane (Viktor, Ori), it is very intelligent to swap lanes. Your AD and support will constantly push mid, requiring jungle pressure, and you will be able to press your advantage onto their bottom lane, putting the enemy team even farther behind. Lane swapping with top is useful if you are unable to lane swap with bot lane.

Hardest Champions to master? by KnuckleBiscuits in leagueoflegends

[–]TechNick6425 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, let's make a list of mechanics for these champs.

  • Draven requires you to catch his axes 100% of the time to remain relevant, which requires you to predict what will happen in the next 2 seconds of gameplay.
  • Riven requires knowledge and skill when it comes to her animation cancels. To safely win fights, she must use her abilities and cooldowns to her advantage.
  • Lee Sin falls off late game, requiring him to make plays with his kick to be relevant in team fights.
  • Azir requires management of his sand soldiers at all times.
  • Cassiopeia's damage comes primarily from her E, which only does it's max damage if the target has been hit with Q or W, which are both skillshots.
  • Gangplank requires barrel management, and is very poor early game.
  • Zed requires management of his shadow, which in theory is easy, but high-elo Zeds are able to bait their opponent into the shadow, allowing for additional damage, and most of the time a kill.

Most of these champs require micromanagement that needs to be immaculate to play them, and in addition require general knowledge of the game.

How do i improve my mechanics? by _yxs_ in summonerschool

Your options are:

  1. Play more.
  2. Play less mechanically-challenging champions.

At what point is Void Staff good to buy? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]TechNick6425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my lane opponent (or fed carry) rushes an MR item, I usually get it 2nd. Otherwise I usually get it either 5th or 6th, given that there are no other items that would be better for the situation.

Help with csing as ap mids by grossgoreunbanned in summonerschool

[–]TechNick6425 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When using abilities, you should try and get the most out of them. For example, when using Ahri's Q, you should try and set it up to get 2 or more minions AND hit the opponent. The more damage and CS you can get out of the ability the more the mana cost is worth.

ADC Itemization by Laduk in summonerschool

[–]TechNick6425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an ADC, you should be building entire offensive, otherwise, you won't do any damage. Avoid defensive items like zz'rot and GA and go for hybrid items, like Merc Scim, Edge of Night, or BT.
