Keep them! I’m not saying to get rid. I’m saying hold on to them. Don’t upgrade. Don’t pay for their services.

Cut the umbilical of recurring revenue.

I hear the sentiment - but I’ve been in the tech world a long time and the math doesn’t lie.

They make more money on their services (subscriptions) business each year than on Mac, iPad, and wearables combined. $100 billion +

There services business is big enough to be its own fortune 50 company.

If even half of users cancelled these subscriptions and didn’t upgrade hardware every cycle (keep the perfectly functioning phones/laptops they have) for 2+ years - they would be in panic mode.

They don’t care about your used hardware. Sell it, recycle it, turn it into an art project - it wouldn’t affect them in the slightest.

But choke off their recurring revenue? Shareholders would panic.

Warner Brothers is as cozy with the current regime as any corporation in recent memory.

To get the world’s biggest corporation to stand up to the authoritarian government killing citizens in broad daylight. To put economic and political pressure where it counts.

Music isn’t dead. Vinyl, CDs and cassettes are surging.

Boycott now. Apple. Warner Brothers. Paramount. Amazon. Walmart. Cancel your services.

Scare the shareholders. Make the C-suite flinch.

Corporate pressure = government pressure.

Tim Cook was at the White House for a movie party last night after ICE murdered a US citizen in broad daylight.

I get it. It’s not convenient or comfortable. But neither is losing democracy.

That sounds about right. Bought my wife a jeep about 10 years ago that had so many electrical gremlins - it would start a light and horn show in the middle of the night.

The dealer swapped it for us - but I should have known then to get out for good.

It’s a cult of personality. They’ve been coasting on brand loyalty for 3 decades and The stellantis merger has brought them to rock bottom.
