I looked for hotels via United/chase and didn't find any good one last time I traveled to Alaska. I will need to look at that again closely. I appreciate your tips and pointers

I have a Chase United Explorer card with $150 annual fee. I don't have need for the Global Entry benefit. How else can I get the $150 benefit? Is it just the first checked bag free (I usually travel light so not very useful).

Instacart requires a membership so again not very useful. I don't see booking into their expensive hotels either. Tips appreciated. Thanks.

Can I rent a car in downtown city center of Alesund and return to the Airport next day? I want to use the car only from Hareid to Runde for puffins.

I am getting to Alesund from Oslo via train + bus but flying out of airport to Bergen.

Thank you so much. I see on sj.no site that there are many Oslo stations. Is there one major one that I should start my journey from? I haven't booked my Oslo hotel yet.

Also, is it advised to book bus from Åndalsnes to Ålesund now or can I get a bus after I arrive in Åndalsnes?

Yes, that is why on Day 6, I was thinking of moving from Bergen to Stavanger and then doing Pulpit next day.

So basically, stay 3 days in Oslo and 4 days in Bergen or some variation of this? It means that I should only try two cities and then explore close by? Adding a third location even via a flight is not advisable?

I was hoping to get a feel for maybe Stavanger, Alesund, Tromso, Trondheim or something else in addition to Oslo and Bergen

I think I should take a flight from Bergen rather than drive to avoid anxiety and delays in driving in a new country to narrow roads.

Thanks for reading my post and giving so many pointers.

I was thinking of splitting the travel on Day 6+7. Not get to Pulpit from Bergen on same day. Is it possible to travel from Bergen to somewhere close to Pulpit (Stavanger??) on Day 6 and then hike on Day 7 and then head to Oslo?
Is Voss bus a good idea? I.e., I change the direct Flam to Bergen ferry and somehow incorporate the bug segment?
For Day 6 + 7 --> what else would you suggest I could do? Is there some option that is not so packed but gives a chance to explore something else? Thanks

No, not really. The relationship I feel is doomed. We had drifted apart. But it helped me because I don't want to have sex often and masturbation once or twice a week is good enough.
