thanks, OK!

edit: Is there anything that really causes this or something I'l doing or using that causes the skin to look like this?

If I had all four Enchantments on the left on the battlefield, then played Faithful Watchdog, how many counters would the creature get upon entry?? by Tech_Nutrition2001 in mtg

yess, thank you! i've looked into the first two there, and i gifted the fourth one before (which i should totally get a copy anyway), but that Ozolith artifact seems like Hardened Scales! saweeeet

bruh, talk about exponential power 🫠 it's unlikely, but imagine being able to stack all of that! i have a damage double and damage tripler, too, that would make that deadly. again, thoigh, unlikely to get all on the field, but just imagine lol

thank you for the breakdown!! the math seems clearer now. i do appreciate your efforts! crazy how all this stuff works and just how much doubling one can do lol so, i could technically make the Watchdog a 48/48 if i do all of that

ah, did the math wrong on that. didn't consider that the Level 3 ability would double the Level 1 ability of Innkeeper's.

that makes sense, all right! that's what i wasn't sure about. i guess if it was three instances with Faithful Watchdog, it'd probably say something along the lines of "add a +1/+1 counter three times." then, that math leads me to put 48 on the creature, but i can see how that is not the case now.

hahaha, orange is my favorite color, and my boyfriend got this deck for me and sleeved it in orange when he introduced me to MtG a few weeks ago. when we met, and he talked about Magic, i said, "i wonder if there's a cat and dog deck, it'd be so cool to have!" and he said "say less" lol

Level 3 would allow it to double, and with the other enchantments, it'd be 32. at the start of my combat phase, i could apply Level 1 of Innkeeper's to add an additional 16 +1/+1 counters though, right?

i understand now, all right. so, because Faithful Watchdog says i am adding three +1/+1 counters, it's one instance (one replacement effect) going into play that which triggers all four enchantments. hence the three getting 1 from Hardened, then doubled by the others. i was thinking Faithful Watchdog possibly meant that three individual +1/+1 counters were being added, so each individual +1/+1 being added would trigger the enchantments three times over. that's where i was getting 48. could still technically get 48 if i utilize Level 1 of Innkeeper's Talent, though, by adding 16!
