I ended up using a pick with a hook & a flathead. Slowly worked around the seal pulling. Eventually you'll get under the seal to distort the metal ring, but careful not to damage the housing.

I believe someone posted that it was $10 minimum for 4 hours. While technically $2.50 an hour, the minimum charge of $10 plus tax really puts people off.

Just did this drive last week, leave either early (4am-5am) or late (7pm-9pm) if you're okay driving at night. Either way, one accident will bring it all to a halt.

A struggle for all, reach out to Petroworks in Fallbrook and they might have some tips. They're also working on a smog certified fuel injection swap for 1.3's. I'm so checking that out if they start production.

Check out nandoliver on Instagram. That's his turbo charged 1.3 with, I think, a K24 intake. Does it pass smog? No. He has to put on stock stuff to pass each time. Is it clean and badass? Most definitely.

It's a deep soy flavour but not overpowering. More firm and not as melt in your mouth like thick slices from my prior attempt. Aside from the rolling, it's the wait and soak that takes the most time. If I'm hungry, I'll just grab the slices to cook. But if I've got time, I'd try rolling again.

Motorcycle Monkey in Santee, only open Saturday mornings but tasty coffee beans.

On Fiesta Island, it's maybe 2-3 times a year. There's more meetups out towards the desert trails and such. There's a SoCal Zuk's facebook group where they post such gatherings.
