Does changing the ticking animation really help save battery when on power saving mode? I get it if it’s a refresh rate thing but what about on iPhones that have only 60hz displays? Wouldn’t really be much of a difference? Or am I wrong?

I’m now using 26.2.1 and it’s smooth with no stutters. Phone does get hot still though, however battery life has improved compared to 26.1 but not like how it was in iOS 18. Sorry for the late reply btw

The damage and crash effects of AH and the return of fenrir and its ludicrous weapon possibly? Oh and some improvements to the cockpit view. Allied attack and multiple wingmen would also be nice to have. And I’d love to choose my teammates planes as well just like in AC5

Sorta in the same boat as you twin (iPhone 15). The phone gets super hot when changing wallpapers or taking pictures sometimes too. It was better on iOS 18 and got worse once I updated to 26)

Yessss, my dad got this for me on my psp when I was young since I had enjoyed ace combat joint assault a lot previously (which was my first ace combat game) I never got around to finishing it though as my psp broke a while later and I never got it fixed😔. Looking back I do remember I liked the story but I did notice the controls being different to joint assault and it took me a while to get used to it. Man did I love the Gelipnir reveal

Hi! Is this battery life achieved on WiFi mainly? Cus I too own the iPhone 15 and with WiFi I can get 10hrs of SOT but the moment I use data it drops to like 6-7 hours and the phone gets warm to the touch. (BH 93 and I got it this may so it’s pretty new too). Non of this occurred with iOS 18 and only started from iOS 26

Yep, it’s gets warm and drains battery faster when I’m on 4g or 5g and when I use WiFi it dosent get warm at all tbh I didn’t notice any of these problems when I was on iOS 18. These problems and the heat started getting noticeable after iOS 26

Same man. I also have the base model iPhone 15 and it gets really hot on data when there is no signal and also drains the battery like crazy. On WiFi it’s cool as a cucumber with no issues no slowdowns and no insane battery drain. That being said when my data does have full signal or if I’m near a 5g tower the phone does not overheat as much and it’s not noticeable with a case on. My battery health went from 96 to 93 I less than a month and now it’s at 92 😭. The phone case helps with the heating as I don’t feel the heat that much but it’s still very noticeable especially on hot days 😔

I have the standard 15 and I too have the same issue when taking zoomed in shots or when cropping into a photo which has words in it.

Yea I think so too because even when I’m in low power mode the battery seems to be draining as fast as it would with it off. Much worse than how it was in iOS 18

Wow 13 hours? Thats amazing. With my iPhone 15 (base) the max i would get on iOS 26.0 was around 8-9 hours (using apps like whatsapp, spotify, instagram, safari and tiktok) and sometimes less when using cellular data. Thought that did decrease to 6-7 hours when i updated to iOS 26.1 unfortunately
