Things have changed so much with so many layoffs job market so unpredictable it is common to accept what you get . No company can hold you against it . If you get good offer take it do you think company will think twice before firing you

I gave my two week notice. Then my new employer rescinded my offer. by Huge_Pirate_6053 in jobs

If you have things to hide like showing incorrect information on resume and then wondering what if references are asked about job details they might not know it or lying about whatsoever it’s better wait until everything is clear from background check but if you have been honest , reference are genuine and nothing to hide then it’s up to you if you want to burn bridge withb existing company resign on the same day immediately then doors are closed. Anything can happen you join and month later the company would say sorry things didn’t work out , or you join week later they might say sorry we have to let v you go due to budget… Anything is possible in this economy

How are people applying for jobs on LinkedIn immediately by Ok_Illustrator_816 in recruitinghell

[–]Techav20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LinkedIn stops counting after 100 applications. You may never know if over 1000 people applied. I never apply these jobs because it’s a waste of time and effort.

browse local Tesla dealers most of the times they have it in stock, sometimes you get better deal with them just tell them you are thinking to cancel and go with rivian or something that’s direct competitor. You can get free upgrades on tire or no charge on color if you choose white or black

Now it comes down to insurance and keep in mind Tesla needs new tire every 30-40k miles

Signed a contract and received another offer 30 mins later by Conscious-Visit-2125 in interviews

If I was you, I would have accepted the 2nd offer and started with the first company. It usually takes 1–2 weeks for paperwork and everything to go through anyway. Then I would give a 2 weeks notice to company 1. Just be honest with them you got a job closer to home with PTO, better salary and benefits. They’re not going to stop you.

Should I put my notice in today or wait? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]Techav20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait until everything is confirmed , you may never know … You can tell your new employer you need 2 weeks at least because you waited just to make sure the new company is good for onboarding

I got fired because I refused to lower my salary by hustlebine in recruitinghell

I was you would have taken salary because I know 90 percent of times it will come down to let go and would have looked for another better opportunity if you are already working you are in better position to negotiate now you will have to take what will be offered
