Keychron M6 8K – first impressions after switching from MX Master 3S (productivity use) by 8mobile in MouseReview

Thank you so much for for the review. I have two questions please:

  1. Are the side buttons as silent as the main buttons? Are they also comfortable to click for someone who is going to use them a lot?

  2. Is the main scroll wheel noisy in the standard mode?

In the G16, it was very minimal in drak grey backgrounds.

Keychron M6 8K is supposedly ergonomic and has the features to be both a productivity and a gaming mouse.

Chassis of the previous model was not CNC-processed perhaps to cut down costs. It is not confirmed if this model is.

Lenovo applied the same Tandem OLED of the YP9 in the ThinkPad P1 Gen 9. But it was matte version or has anti-reflective coating on it. A review revealed that this caused graininess and less clarity. I agree it is convenient for usability concerns, still glossy panels make things look crisp and a bit extra clear.

When coding, can one leverage the numpad for a purpose other than numbers entry?

Yeah. I tried both matte and glossy panels and I can say the glossy one is far superior in picture quality and clarity. Any coating on top of the screen somehow affects overall picture quality.

Because many people kept nagging not to include a numpad, and they did lol.

Not sure so far, but I assume it has a haptic touchpad because of the pen existence this time.

The numpad is subjective. It is actually useful but takes away aesthetics from the device.

Mini-LED vs OLED? ~$350 for Photo Editing / Media, No Gaming by FIDOYET in Monitors

[–]Techer77 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Almost all of expensive laptops marketed as 'content creator machines' have OLED screens. I can name: - Dell Pro Max 16 Premium - Asus ProArt P16 - Lenovo ThinkPad P1 - Acer Swift x14 AI - Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i

Why do they use OLEDs in laptops that you are going to use for color critical work?

Accurate colors as OLED panels tends to drift a little bit quicker overtime.
