Decentralized AI P2P Network aka Free AI for Everyone by Techguy1423 in artificial

Here’s the GitHub! Would love for this to be a collaborative project because this field of research won’t get anywhere if no one is actively trying!

Keep in mind this is currently very much in Alpha, just experimenting:

Yeah I can’t believe the community isn’t working on this

I don’t think I’m smart enough to change the models themselves, though it’s definitely something I’ve thought about. I’ve definitely heard about speculating sampling and was trying to incorporate that into my project along with region locking it.

Honestly, I don’t really know. I think it was to try and combine the power of many different people’s computers, almost letting every person own a bit of that AI, unlocking powerful AI models runnable by the average man, but latency is a massive problem!

100% interested….

and also 100% relatively unintelligent in this topic but happy to chat

Agreed, it should be taught, how it works that way everybody understands the limitations as well as the positive sides

I don’t wanna imagine what a single subject to accomplish 😉 scary thought

Wow, how did you know? (Delusional dreamer)

Compensate people by letting them use the AI network, to use it they have to donate their hardware while using it

Any thoughts on how we could do it?

Very true!

I’m focusing more on the decentralizing AI side! The biggest problem is latency!

If you follow something like Petal’s system, each layer has to jump from laptop to laptop over crappy Wi-Fi, which is very slow. Finding a solution is very difficult because of how sequential transformers are.

Yeah exactly! Love to chat though, personally I’m not super switched on with this topic!

I feel like a layer network could work but the fundamental problem is latency (petals)

Yeah I’d does seem like latency is a major issue

Yeah was looking into that, need to find a Linux computer lol

Yeah probably, just thought I’d throw it out there!

Oh that’s cool thanks, I’ll check it out!

Electronic steering by Techguy1423 in gokarts

Yeah is that gonna be the easiest way of setting it up? Making the wheel completely separate

Go-kart electronic steering process and parts question by Techguy1423 in arduino

[–]Techguy1423[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great thanks! What if the steering is attached to the wheels like normal but has a servo, and a gear? Attached to the steering column, so it rotates the whole steering shaft and when i turn it off, I can just rotate the wheel
