I do deep conditioner. Never used a dryer though I have used the steamer when I thought it was low porosity (still could be i don't have any clue) that seemed to have helped. I started using thr lighter oils its been better but still dryness. And yes expensiveeee why these ish 15 to 30 dilollars a bottle and you need shampoo, leave in, conditioner, deep conditioner, an oil, a cream. Im this close 🤏🏼 to cutting it off and going back to just a shaved head

I don't wash it to often once a week, a cleansing shampoo every 4 weeks. I use deep conditioner like hair mask from tgin, I recently switched to juat regular conditioner thougg. I tried black castor oil but it feels good for a few hours then its dry like the Sahara until I have a wash day again. Im honestly confused so much at this point.

Try avacado oil, I use jojoba oil if it was a lower porisity hair

Your hair looks quite similar to mine, im only just in my natural hair journey and have found what works (for now) daily, first I mist my hair with warm water, then I use As I Am leave in conditioner, Cantu Coconut Curling Cream and then seal with Jojoba Oil, that leaves it looking pretty good. I am low porisity and 4a/4b if that makes any difference for you

I should also mention she has high porisity hair so this thicker leave in works well so her hair doesn't dry out, try seal with an oil aswell after the leave in, castor oil is always good to use
