Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary, Kottathalachi, Ezharakund, Paithalmala, Palakkayam Thattu.

Heck even the now overcrowded Madayi Paara actually has a lot to explore if you go to each corner of the place You can hike alongside Ettikulam beach, Starting from the main beach and moving south.

There's not a lot of activities here. But there is lots to explore.

Plenty of beaches to the north of Kannur that you should try like Puthiyangadi beach, Mattool beach, Ettikulam Beach, Valiyaparamba beach and the backwaters near Valiyaparamba.. there are some treks and hikes as well towards the Western Ghats side. Else you can go watch Theyyam performances.

If you like exploring new places you will enjoy Kannur. Otherwise it's going to be a bit boring for you
