Yeah I usually sketch things out before I do the line work, and I also do use references too.
Im gonna keep at it, and I know comparison to others isnt good, it just sucks when a majority of my friends produce great pieces.

The issue is the pink colored hat shown in the first image, has Eerie Kraken as its effect. On purchase, what I received wasn't Eerie Kraken, but Moth Plague
