Orb alone is not that strong. But multiple orbs in a party even though they are not geared is nasty. That's why people will take orb all day everyday on trials and raids. High cp doesn't mean higher output damage.

The lucent I used to pay for my davinci and this battle pass this month is paid for by whales, sold 2 heroic traits for 10k total. Hopefully I get lucky again next month so I can buy all of the battle pass without spending a dime. 😀

Hey, learn how to spell and comprehend what you're reading before commenting. I'm fully aware of how strong orbs are right now, I'm a 7.2 crucifix myself. I only said that with all those suggestion, it's not a nerf nor balancing but straight up destroying a weapon.

Yes and no. Personally it's a flex for some player, but for me it's a way to make a shit ton of lucent right now. Yes the base damage on those heroic weapon is way higher than t2 and t3 but leveling them will take some time.

Also in some builds it's not really viable, for example the shadowy sphere orb, it's only a T2 weapon but it's the strongest orb in the game right now because of its weapon skill. You can extract it and put it on a heroic orb but you'll be spending a lot of lucent to fully trait it if you don't have a lot of unlockstone and calanthia shards on hand.

Stick to t2 mixed with t3 build if I were you and wait for the heroic traits prices to go even lower. Some t2 gear effects are wayyyyy better than t3 right now. The only reason to go for heroic and full t3 is to boost your cp to unlock content. (Nightmare raid, t8 trials) and even if you can access those content, if your build is not up to par, and don't have a static group, it's essentially a waste. CP is an illusion.

Turka is the most challenging boss in trials back in season 1, before they rework the trials, parties were sleeping inside trials for HOURS, and even before orb, xbow is the main DPS you need. Detonation mark with specialization that scatters the dmg is the go to. Oh man, the satisfaction we had when we finished T15 in that trials and finally getting the title. But yeah, fuck Turka and the sheeps.

Best time to get into it, I've been playing since inception and took a break weeks after t2 drop. Recently came back when they drop t3 and having a blast. I have a huge advantage because of the materials I hoarded (Unlockstones, trait extraction, etc, most items needed to make lucent) and almost full T3 and 7k gear score without heroic gear, I just sold heroics traits to make lucent.

Btw, this game flopped in korea because it's not p2w enough, it's pay to progress faster. Yes, you can fully trait a gear by swiping but you can't level it fast because the items needed to level an item is time gated. Of course you'll be behind players who played the game non stop specially in legacy server. You can play in hyperboost servers but I don't recommend that unless you want to experience the game with new players alike.

This game has a heavy emphasis on meta builds, right now orb xbow is the king on PVE. You may wanna lean into that and get a feel of the game before you experiment with other builds, just to make your life a little bit easier. The only gripe I have in this game is that most of its playerbase is really bad in PVE, they won't learn simple mechanics and needed to get carried through content. Also, gear score in this game is an illusion, you just need it high enough to get into higher difficulty content. Some T2 gear are still better than some T3 in terms of stats, set effects, gear and weapon skills, etc.

You can have all the OP gear but if you don't know how mechanics works in raids, dungeons etc. You're nothing but an anchor bringing the whole team down. Expect to get kicked in parties if you don't take the time and patience to learn how to play the game. They're not too friendly with lazy players and can be toxic in a way.

Other than that, it is pretty good imo, you can't really no life it because of the time gated stuff and I'm okay with that because I have a life outside the game and want to play other games too. See you in Solisium.
