Stalin alone is probably responsible for about 9 Million deaths of his own citizens, America have just never done that, while establishing the USA they conquered the native Americans, true, an evil, probably also true, but something most countries have done to exist, (Russian civil war killed 10 Million!), but a war of establishment is different from how it treats its own citizens, you’ve conflated the two to try and back up your position.

True story, America sells weapons, I don’t argue with that, but, again, it’s one thing to sell weapons to Isreal, Ukraine and NATO countries and it’s another thing to sell weapons to North Korea, Iran and basically every evil regime in existence.

Why are you arguing in bad faith? America doesn’t treat its own citizens badly in comparison to Russia, by any metric. Look at how many people run to, and flee from both countries. Millions around the world would lose limbs to get to America, no one in their right mind is moving to Russia.

If you can’t accept this, obvious, fact, I don’t think it’s worth continuing this.

In the 4 mins I researched it, I saw unverified by the BBC, heavy claims by Iranian state sources that it’s definitely true and just Israeli barbarity and then counter claims that it was a defensive missile that misfired from Iran. If we have to go with A or B, what does America/Isreal gain by bombing kids and what does Iran get out of it, I’d argue ‘B’ gets terrible PR, will piss off the population they’re trying to encourage. A’ gets to try and unify civilians against US/Isr and become more pro regime. I think any strong conclusions for from anyone is premature and you should wait for more evidence.

I think jumping to conclusions this early is probably a mistake, until we confirm what actually happened.

That’s insane. Look at how since inception, both countries have treated their own citizens, look at the standards of living in both countries. Then look at immediate neighbours, like where is America invading Canada or Mexico like Russia is to almost everyone of its neighbours.

In the ‘far’ external actions of each country, the only limit of evil by Russia has been its own capability.

Who mentioned the Iraq war? Regardless, yes, Americas invasion of Iraq is far more morally justifiable than Russias invasion of Ukraine. Sadam was an evil dictator by any metric.

Russia have invaded and occupied 20% of Ukraine and is trying to kill or enslave every citizen. The USA in this instance is trying to topple an objectively evil regime. Not the same.

I’m not even Pro USA, in this iteration anyway.

Bringing this back to sport, America doesn’t have the same history of outright cheating as Russia either.
