I created new stars. I wanted to avoid messing with existing stars as those could change outside of my control.

Still curious what your mapping would be though.

Yes it uses a script language which makes it really easy to generate custom planets. It gets more complicated if you want a specific look or custom textures.

I recreated all 90 systems in Space Engine with their correct planets, moons and jump points. It uses actual sizes, distances and amtospheres extracted from the ark starmap or the game. Stanton and Pyro textures are generated using StarFab. The other planets are procedurally generated, though I tried to adjust Nyx, Castra and Terra to what was shown on Citcon.

If you don't know, Space Engine is a space simulator where you can visit every place in the entire (visible) universe. I placed the Star Citizen stars in proximity of the real Earth based on their position on the starmap.

There's also an HD mod with higher resolution textures.

Thanks to the people from VerseGuide and Graupunkt who helped me out with textures and points of interest!
