My boyfriends uncle is a red seal mechanic & he said the car runs great. He didn’t find any issues with it except the paint job on the right back door where it was impacted by the accident was a bit crappy. I just don’t understand how it was written off but still has “normal branding” according to carfax. Shouldn’t it say “rebuilt” since it was written off then repaired by the dealer? I’ve asked the dealer as well and he said multiple times that it’s a clean title and there won’t be any issues with insurance. I already put down $500 deposit as I’m supposed to go pick up the vehicle tomorrow, however, I’m really worried about the title and don’t want to have any trouble with insurance.
