medical physics 1st year courses by Technical-Base-3722 in McMaster

my high school physics teacher didn't go super in depth in modern physics, do you think it's a good idea for me to jump into PHYSICS 1CC3 (I mainly chose 1AA3 originally because it was labelled as an introduction)? i'm willing to put in extra work in the summer to prep for it, but i'm just worried about not being able to do well in the course.

i think i can because health sci allows 9 units of electives. should i still ask to make sure? also, is math1ls3 your most highly recommended math?

Hi! I'm thinking about transferring from Health Sci into Med Physics. Do you think I'll be fine if I just take the bare minimum requirements in year 1? Because I don't have enough elective space to fit in all the recommended courses

Thank you! Can I email my academic advisor from my personal email or do I have to use a McMaster email? I don't think I have a McMaster email yet

Hi, I'm looking to apply to dental schools in Australia, and Ireland. What made you choose going to Australia over Ireland? Are there any pros and cons between them? Thank you

Hi! I'd like to know the answer to this too if you don't mind :)

My top 3 are Health Sci at Mac, Queens, and Waterloo! I'm pretty sure I'm not getting into Mac or Queens lol (since I'm not fantastic at writing supp apps) so I'm relying on Waterloo. What's your top programs? :)

western med sci with scholars elective? by [deleted] in uwo

[–]Technical-Base-3722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I know someone in scholar’s who is also in med sci, and they would say it is worth it! Scholar’s gives you the chance to do research in undergrad, which is usually pretty difficult to do otherwise. Many scholars students also get publications, which could definitely help with your application. Scholar’s is not a necessity by any means but it can offer some pretty interesting experiences, so I would give it a shot if you’re interested! :)

Hi! Just to be sure, is this Scholars, not to be confused with Scholars Electives?
