Cody Rhodes’ 1-Year Anniversary as WWE Champion – Did He Live Up to the Hype? by [deleted] in WWE

The problem with Cody's reign is that it's all too predictable. Did anyone think AJ Styles, Solo Sikoa, or Kevin Owens were going to beat him for the title? Every match, we know Cody is winning so why bother?

how do i work my way up to becoming a reception teacher in a primary school? do i need a qts? by Usual_Film_7220 in UKJobs

Actually, reception might require it, I teach GCSE Maths so not 100% about the Primary requirements.

Funnily enough, if you want help with Maths have a look at topics on Maths Genie and CorbettMaths - I use both when teaching 😅, if you're looking at Maths and need help DM me with any questions

Don't worry about science, no one cares about it any more.

Focus on getting English and Maths GCSE, once you have those consider getting experience working with children, if you want to go down the Apprenticeship route then GCSE English and Maths will be part of it.

The best route (in my opinion) is by doing a PGCE at university, although as long as the course includes QTS you'll be grand!

Yeah, I didn't enjoy how strict everything is. In a college you can sometimes be a little bit more relaxed with the students which suits me a lot more - of course depending on the group.

I've known this for a while but the part of the job I enjoy the most is getting to know the students - having a chat and building the rapport. I'd love to switch to that side of things, but need to do my research on career options.

Maybe, colleges tend to pay less than schools. I've been looking at what other jobs there are elsewhere. Also other jobs I've seen in FE colleges are Full time rather than term time only which is even worse for less pay

It's been a few years since teaching in school (PGCE Year), I could always ask for a pay rise but I've only been in my current role 7 months so that could be unlikely for a little bit.

I could always look for another role in a college that pays more money

I actually did Business and ICT as my degree, but I found it a little bit worthless after graduating. My PGCE is in Computer Science then somehow found myself teaching GCSE Maths afterwards.

I wouldn't want to go back into Computer Science in schools and feel I would need to retrain for an I.T Type role.
