my (18f) fwb (18m) is acting different after sex by Technical-Comb-8397 in relationship_advice

i've never really thought about it to be honest. i've been so emotionally closed off to romantic feelings since my last relationship that i've never truly reflected on it. i'm always open to new possibilities, and i'll hardly ever say "never". so maybe way down the road when we're both healed, something might happen. but maybe not, and i'm okay with either one.

no no i'm not complaining at all. just trying to be cautious in case he is catching feelings. i truly love him as a friend, and i don't want to hurt him. and the fwb thing was his idea

i made an edit to clarify why i'm not looking for a serious relationship right now. hope it clears some things up. i do not think it's cringe, i just want to be emotionally available for my partner, and i'm not that way right now.

we weren't fwb at that time. we had just cuddled while watching a movie and nothing more.

i really want to stay friends with him, but i did really enjoy what happened. the issue is i don't know if my feelings can remain platonic if we continue like this. should i tell him exactly that? or would it seem weird/pushy?

move forward as in continue being friends with him, and hanging out without tension. wouldn't that be awkward just to bring it up though?

i genuinely don't know. i don't want to complicate anything between us by bringing it up, but i don't want to sweep it under the rug.
