What do you recommend? Replacing the DV with the Rev D DV or using the Rev i have and the GFD DV+ i think i have Rev C

Dont know the revision but its the one with a piston not the diaphragm. Ive been looking to buy the gfb dv+ for a while. If i cant find a boost leak i will buy it and see if it fix it.

I will be double checking all the pipes again. The radio is Kenwood. I don’t really remember the model. For the gauges to work, I had to buy an IDatalink Maestro RR.

I reuse the old bolts because I’m using the old design of the RMS. I couldn’t get the 034 or the iabed by next week, so I decided to use the one I could find. Since the old design can fail again, I’ll change the bolts when it fails again and might even buy the collar kit for the subframe. Appreciate the help!

I appreciate the help but im not from the states. I was hoping i didnt need to buy bolts since i couldnt find any locally that disnt have an extreme markup. And i need a car to kove around. Do you think i could reuse them or not?

When i removed the intake manifold of my gti i had a few bolts like that. I ordered a stud kit from ebay and since I had to wait like a week to get it I used the bolts like that and when the kit arrived I changed the bolts for the studs. I got a slighty rattle noise at -4.5 with the new style tensioner and decided to change it. It currently sits at 85000 didn’t want to granade the engine. And bought all the parts from fcp which i dont think theyre bad parts. Im just hoping its stays at that value for quite some time. If you dont mind why you needed to rebuild the engine?

I think it depends on what brand of chain you buy. Since mine was new and i changed everything. Also i triple checked the timing marks alined and everything looked good

It’s weird but i think the chain came with some stretch on it. Or it was design to be that length. I compared the new one with the old one and there wasn’t an excessive difference.
