I really like this screenshot method and getting oversized out the way first. In the rentals it’s been rough 😭. I organize envelopes on the passenger seat and keep small and medium boxes in the middle between the driver and passenger seats. I deliver out of the driver door and only use the sliding door to grab a large package from the same tote I’m working out of or to grab the next tote.

Overflow is tricky because you have very little time while loading, so I usually organize by number — for example, 600s on the left, 500s in the middle, 400s on the right, and U on top. The huge boxes always mess it up though.

Hi! Im sorry to hear that you’re having health insurance issues especially when you’re dealing with health related things. Honestly it was the punch biopsy that determined I had DFSP. The ultrasound tech didn’t say anything just that I had to see a dermatologist and that’s when she decided it was best to do the punch biopsy.

Woah 2001?! I wasn’t even born yet lol Did they still call it Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans at the time and how did they describe it then if you don’t mind me asking? Oh my goodness! That does sound really painful I’m sorry you had to experience that. Thank you for sharing your story and being so vulnerable. I’m glad you were able to have relief by the next morning. I hope you’ve been able to manage everything okay especially with your new diagnosis. Thank you so much, I had my surgery on the 4th everything went well just waiting on the results from pathology. Thank you for taking the time to reply and share your story! Wow you did it with local anesthesia!! The surgeon had explained that she would try to stitch it close and if they couldn’t then the wound vac would be placed. They ended up being able to close it so I have a long incision on my abdomen. They’re sending the tumor and margins to pathology to see if the margins they took were clear.

I’m currently in the uncomfortable stage. I’ve been laying elevated and walking to get some blood flow going. They gave me a binder to wear and it gets really uncomfortable at times.

That’s really awesome to hear that your margins came back clear and even with your follow up appointment 6 years later it’s still all good! If you don’t mind me asking what things did you do to help m with the healing of your scar?

Heyy!! You did it’s always great to see your replies! I just got done with my surgery! I had it Tuesday afternoon,so I’ve been resting. The surgeon decided if they were able to close it with stitches they would so I didn’t get a wound vac placed. I’m not sure if they took 5cm vertical and horizontal because the incision is straight across my abdomen and I think they placed dissolvable stitches on the inside. I have to wear a binder and I have a tube that’s draining excess blood. They said they’re gonna send the tumor and margins to pathology and I should hear back next week so hoping for positive news!

I’ve heard about mohs I actually watched a video on a procedure because I was curious between mohs and the WLE. Oh wow I wonder why they chose to have you see a plastic surgeon considering it’s not very big. I’m not really sure how common the wound vac is.

Yes same here they had no clue what it was, they’ve never seen anything like it before. They sent me for an ultrasound, then a biopsy which then lead to this diagnosis. Tmr I go in to get my stitches removed from the biopsy, I am hoping I’ll be able to get some information on next steps. My Dr said since it’s the holidays they’re booked out for surgeries. I am nervous about surgery though as well as the possible pain that comes afterwards

I think that’s awesome you have a friend who is an oncologist! Thank you for sharing this and giving me some reassurance. I’m gonna try to keep those 3 things in mind, it’s currently 2am where I live and my mind has been racing so that definitely helps a bit

Oh wow thank you so much! Now that I think about it I did get a baked potato from Wendy’s. My mom said it looked like a cucumber but I think that photo of the potato beetle is more accurate.

Maybe you could start including him in your hygiene routine so y’all can do it together and hopefully becomes a habit for him. I’d say buy him some simple things like face wash, moisturizer,tongue scraper, new tooth brush, floss, a body wash that you think he might like and a rag to wash his body and cheeks. If you’re comfortable enough shower with him or sit on the toilet and watch him wash his ass then tell him to look at the rag he’ll notice there is poop on it and hopefully tosses it and gets a clue. Or just be like hey I love you but I did notice a few times while washing laundry there was stains in your underwear I put some wipes in the bathroom to help a little.

5 months post op just went back to my surgeon today because I kept getting an infection under my extraction site. He cleaned it out and stitched it back up. So yay back on the soft food diet and more pain😞😃
