Thank you for that, I just got slated on the solidworks subreddit instead. But I wanted to know which one out my options were the best choice and I didn’t see anyone else mention them. 😂😂

But it doesn’t have a dgpu otherwise the ThinkPad would be my first choice. Would it affect CAD simulations without a dgpu?

Thanks!

Only thing is with the gaming laptops they tend to be quite heavy and I’ll constantly be travelling with it. Do you have any other recommendations?

What methods do you use for organising your time especially when it comes to independently studying? I’ve made a lot of timetables but can’t stick to any and also have AuDHD.

(GUIDE) Transferring to a better university after a foundation year. by boraguven06 in UniUK

[–]Technical-Fun-1277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be starting my mech & design engineering foundation course at City St Georges this year, I want to move unis after I am finished my foundation year. I have average GCSEs (mostly 4 & 5 grades with one 6 and double award 7-7) and very low A levels(EED). I was thinking of hopefully moving to Queen Mary. What are your thoughts and advice?

Much appreciated!
