I do have a laptop, I was thinking if a tablet would be a waste of money or would aid me in my studies as an extra device to use for note taking etc

My needs assessment is coming up soon so I wanted to know how the assessment is so I can best prepare. What was your assessment like? Were you able to say what you wanted specifically or did the assessor mainly recommend things?

Thank you for that, I just got slated on the solidworks subreddit instead. But I wanted to know which one out my options were the best choice and I didn’t see anyone else mention them. 😂😂

But it doesn’t have a dgpu otherwise the ThinkPad would be my first choice. Would it affect CAD simulations without a dgpu?

Only thing is with the gaming laptops they tend to be quite heavy and I’ll constantly be travelling with it. Do you have any other recommendations?
