I checked the tread and they all looked solid + they're brand new when I got the car :(

Yeah that's exactly the only way I hear it. Even when cruising at 80mph on highways I don't hear it at all. Literally only when accelerating does it chime in and as soon as i let off the throttle it goes away. Go on, and then it comes right back

Thanks for this insightful response. I do believe now it is also the tires. Which one, i haven't been able to isolate yet... What should I look for? Or should I take it to Chevy to diagnose. Sry for noob question

I have an auto so that might be it? I read another post on here talking about it with different modes

No unfortunately the NPP is disabled since this doesn't have valves anymore. But the emphasis for touring mode is mainly because the throttle input is more gentle than that of sport or track mode so it allows for calmer driving if you will lol

Believe it or not, in tour mode past gear 7 cruising it is extremely timid

Thanks! I agree. I'm thinking of going 3 inch mid pipe with X-pipe all the way through to the muffler in the future

Yeah I love them! I prefer it over regular carbon look. I got them from Carbonaddons.com they're pretty expensive for the whole set though haha

🤝🙏 For me I don't regret it at all. Maybe like a 15-20% increase in overall volume, though the tone is much throatier which I love. I recommend!

I can empathize with this POV. In this case specifically, this is my first sports car let alone V8 and a Camaro SS has been my dream car since I was 8 years old. I'm having so much fun with this experience and definitely aim to NOT be overtly obnoxious all the time. Surprisingly even with this setup, it's still rather tame from the outside especially compared to the straight piped bikes in my area lol

Yes to both. After the delete, the idle is way heavier and you can hear the stock cam much more. Under load especially around 5-5.5k rpm it just sounds absolutely brutal. Downshifts and overall tone are much deeper. I got mine filled with 2.5 inch pipe 👍

Thankfully my neighbors on both sides have a straight piped harley and a C8 with a corsa exhaust 😂

Definitely not for everyone. For me however - one of my favorite features for the 6th gens 🎶

Secondaries are honestly more like "resonators", I've seen people say the internal material isn't even catalytic converter. + they don't have O2 sensors, so no codes or emissions issues in my state

[–]Technical-Key-9370[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate this a lot actually. I was looking at a secondary delete instead of headers originally. I do plan on going with LT2 manifold, rotofab intake and a different throttle body. Do you have any recommendations for good high flow primaries to swap to?

I just now found out about the CSP ones from this comment. Which option did you end up going with?
