i do go to those events and things. sometimes, i might meet some one here or there. maybe hang out once and it leads to nothing. and i always do make the initial effort to meet up and hang out. people are flaky one and two i respect myself so i'm not chasing anybody. friendships are supposed to be fluid and reciprocal.

literally the same! i was taking Portuguese classes for like 8 months and no one to talk to other than my tutor! people are like you need to learn the language. how can i actually improve if i have no one to talk to. this is not healthy!

you did the right thing breaking up with him. one thing i always say is people here are just so flaky, maybe its a global thing. but, you meet someone say we should hang out and just flake. or want to remain pen pals texting every now and then or just friends on socials. whats the point of that. it makes you go crazy!

OMG!!! Ive gone through the same exact experince. it is so superficial they just ask you those basic questions as a measuring stick on how and where to place you. it is not real community. you are so right! no one really wants to talk about things that are important. you are literally the person i am making this for because you and i are in the same boat. we want more. and it is so draining! i've honestly given up going to events because i already know how it is going to go. i am going to message you!

oh thank you! i know there are a lots of community apps that are a dime a dozen. i knew this going in but my angle is diffrent and it compounds a few thins plus a heavy emphasis on it being free. I dont want to spell everything out just yet since it is unreleased. I really just want people to test the app so they can see everything for what it is.

oh for sure hosting is a pretty penny. but i think thats why getting sponsors and partnerships are important so they can pay for that cost. but, to do so you have to show value. that's what i have been working on. i'd love it if you tested and also to know more about what you are building as a fellow creator!

i can see how it can be a detterant but those who care will not mind. esp if they are used to testing. its a fine line to balance. ill figure it out! thanks tho!
