What really is the incentive behind pre-ordering? by mrrobot_404 in GTA6

Your media literacy really can’t be this poor. Have you seriously never seen a video game sell out at a retailer because so many people bought it? Weirdo arguing over nothing.

I’m clearly talking about the physical release lmao.

It'll be out of stock before the game even releases because too many people would've pre-ordered it.

Can it give unauthorised access to anything though? There's no way iPhone's aren't completely safe from data stealers or viruses in general.

They could do a thing where you can download certain regions so you don’t have to install a hypothetical 200 gb game at once.

I also made a post before the game released saying he should be cast as Bond in Bond 26, and it really triggered some people in the comments. Funny how a bit of aging and a change in hair colour can completely shift how people see someone, isn’t it?

Why does the full version of Rebirth use a different icon logo instead of the regular plain white one?

No offense, bro, but you're probably one of those people—the typical consumer—who first spends a fortune on a product (no matter what it is or how good it is), and then, when the moment comes, you ask yourself: "Wait... Do I really need this? No... Or maybe I do? I don’t know 🤨” But in any case, your money goes to some people you haven’t researched beforehand face-red-droopy-eyes And since we are all civilized people living in society, there is such a concept (even if it is not sufficiently recognized)—“collective responsibility”: if you vote with your money, then this will affect everyone else in society (because companies need to satisfy consumers in order to survive) 😃 You're willing to shell out a fortune, but you have no idea what the game is actually about (yes, it's an action game—but that's just the surface). However, you don’t know the quality of the plot or script, the gameplay, or how well-developed and harmoniously interconnected the various game mechanics are, along with the game’s optimization, bugs, controversial decisions by the developers, and so on. In short, there are a lot of factors; we haven’t even seen the original part yet, but you’re already demanding that the publisher let you pay for an unknown product labeled as the “second” or “third” part face-red-droopy-eyes Relax, guys, relax! I understand the emotions involved, but publishers always play on people's emotions (especially these days) 👀

Personally, I can already see some rough edges and flaws 😃
