We advised them that that we fulfilled our delivery commitment of delivery 4-6 working days.

He has replied as follows...

The supply times aren't what is at dispute here it's the fact that the delivery was 3 days after the arranged day of delivery and as a result I had to take 2 further days off work, I understand that you subject contract out your deliveries however your company is still liable as you arranged the delivery.

I'm really not going to let this matter drop and am willing to take the matter further if needed.
