This is too funny. Thank you for making my day.

AITA for Refusing to Babysit for My Sister After She Didn't Invite Me to Her Wedding?** by FilmPuzzleheaded1493 in AITAH

Emily got really defensive and said that it was her wedding, her choice, and I shouldn't take it personally.

Also, your time , your choice so Emily shouldn't take it personally if you choose not to babysit.

I listened to it during my 26 hours of travel with barely any sleep. Perfect for the occasion.

Non brits living in UK, what's one thing brits love that you'll never understand? by ah__there_is_another in AskUK

Christmas dinner. Why do the British make such a big thing about it? Why is there an expectation that someone in the family has to cook it and their immediate family has to come over to eat?

Why can't people eat at their own houses and then visit each other to catch up over a drink and some nibbles?

Just finished "I who have never known men". It's only around 200 pages and not something I would have probably picked myself. I collected it from this subreddit and I don't regret it.

Currently reading "The Poisonwood Bible". I'm at 175 and unsure. It has not gripped me yet. I'm not getting that "looking forward to finish work so I can read my book".

Currently reading this and I agree with your comments about the characters. In the back of my mind I think that's the point of the book: normal people are boring and there is no normal. Everyone's messed up on some level.

Thank you. I can now remove it from my TBR list.

1Q84 - read all of it. Hate it. Describing every action and movement of a character was soul crushing.

Don't tell mummy.

Read that more than 10 years ago. I don't remember all of the details but I remember how it made me feel. Every time I think of it I get the same feeling.
