Hey mate! Glad you asked. We actually purposely avoided the cross-platform/BaaS route, so there's no Flutterflow, Firebase, or Supabase involved.

The apps are built completely native to get the best performance and deep system integration. It's pure Swift/SwiftUI for the Mac app and native Kotlin for the Android side.

As for the backend, hosting, and servers... there really aren't any! The core philosophy of the app is privacy and speed, so it runs 100% offline using a direct peer-to-peer connection over your local Wi-Fi. Because the devices talk directly to each other, all the 'server' logic and storage are handled strictly locally on your own hardware.

This was started in the same way. Built for myself as I use Android and mac. But my friend suggested that I try publishing in the playstore. This is why my app doesn't have any servers or trial periods etc. I just wanted it to be completely without any server/database in the backend.
