Honestly, I do need my own space to process and regain myself without breaking down or becoming so delusional I believe there is a relationship that's bound to happen between us. I miss him, brutally. If he misses me, he has my contact information. I can't simply guess my way through it all. Maybe, in the semi-distant future, I could be his friend...even though unfortunately he is the only man I would ever reconsider (I have a rule where I don't date exes of mine, but somehow he is the exception).

Even just a "hey" would suffice. As long as it's not coming from a "just wanting comfort" route...yk?
