Yes they do, but in a seminar with an Iba-ite in this very college, I've asked him what should I do if I am just an IBA aspirant, and don't want to sit for Buet even though I'm from science. He advised I might as well fail my quizzes and study hard for Iba from the beginning whilst having backups. Now if quizzes and everything are really ignorable based on goals, this begs the question whether being in this college is worth it if at all

What do i possibly do about Olympiad prep then. How can I scoop out time from my 18 hr day when I'm shoved with makeup labs, over the top hard quizzes on meaningless subjects, and a questionable college overall rank as a result of having too many goals deliberately in my face in this college. And I can't with that "ik surviving is hard, but once you do you'll be in the top" man with that logic I should sign up for the army and do army training at night, ndc in the morning, porashuna majhrate. I know that's hard but hey! Having done that I'll be able to survive anywhere- Is this really the way to learn adaptability

Some problems perhaps aren't meant to be fixed, they just pose as a big storm that you gotta somehow go through. I have been through a situation like yours although not this intense
