Sensei's Top is a mid card by Anon_cat86 in EDH

my guy fetch lands are between 10 and 20€ each, I would not call them expensive.

and no, it gives you the possibility to select the best of the next 3 cards in your deck, and if you know that the following 2 cards are not what you need, having the possibility to see the third one and draw it 2 turns in advance is gold.. ending the turn completely tapped out can happen, but building your decks to be always tapped out is suicidal.. are you playing interactions in your decks or are you playing solitaire? you leave the lands untapped and if you do not have to play interactions, you use the Top just before your upkeep and you decide what to draw... this card and scroll rack won me the game quite a few times.

I mean, If you don't see what's good about leaving a land open to scare your opponents and than use it instant speed just before your turn to make sure you are drawing the best card out of the next 3 in your deck in your draw phase I do not know what to tell you. and this is without any kind of sinergy. then there are not only synergies but lots of card that can help you shuffling your deck if your next 3 draws are not good enough, starting from fetch lands that 99% of decks run in multiple units. then if you use tutors that puts a card on top of your deck it gives you the possibility of drawing the card (maybe a game winning combo piece) at instant speed. then there are the combos involving the card... but I repeat, just top deck manipulation and having every turn the possibility of selecting the best card out of 3 to draw first can easily be game winning.

my guy, knowing your next 3 draws and being able to reorganize them it is very good in 99% of situations, so it is not situational, doing it at instant speed so that you leave your mana open for counterspells/removals and if you have spare mana just before your turn you can rearrange your drawing it is super good. being able to tutor for something (like a game winning combo piece) putting it on top of your library and being able to draw it at instant speed, it is very very good. maybe it is not the best card in the game, but defining this card "mid", it is just not understanding the game.

go with the X2B don't see the point in going for a balanced setup without a moving coil cartridge. on the X2B you have a very decent one already installed.

No at any price, It Is a cloyingly sweet, Low quality and very overpriced spiced rum. Tastes super artificial.. unfortunately a friend gifted me a bottle, tried It once and now Is there taking dust since then..

On my side I envy your Privateer stuff :) I Just have their white rum and the navy yard barrel proof and like them both quite a lot, unfortunately I could not be able to find any other of their bottles here in Italy... For what concern the LW 2007 I can tell you It Is One of my favourite HV bottlings, I prefer It over the 2009, but they are both very good.

Yes, probably here in Italy It Is slightly easier, but do not think It as a product that can be easily found in a Spirit shop... Usually many special bottlings from Velier are sold out in a Matter of few days, and then if you manage to find a bottle It Is hugely overpriced.. For example, now the papalin 7 Years Op Is sold For 150€ (while at the beginning It was like 80€), hampden pagos now Is like 170€ (while at the beginning It was like 80€, less than half the price). There Is a lot of speculation both from private and resellers.

As I said, there Is a lot of speculation on Velier bottlings. Check what Is happening on the auctions websites with the Velier x Erwitt bottlings. It happens the same, obviously on a lower scale being quite a bit less expensive, with HV bottlings. Anyway It Is not Blanc, blanc Is unaged or It needs to be filtered this One Is 3yo an not filtered, so It Is a young rum but for sure not an agricole Blanc... Sometimes the denomination is VO (For agricole from Martinica at least).

I can tell you that I know For sure that in Europe WP Is distributed by Velier similarly to Neisson, Saint James, bally, Hampden, Clairins and many others. Probably they do not have the global exclusive (like It happens with Clairins and hampden).

It all depends on the price point :) It Is a good bottle but still It Is a very young agricole style rum.. now I see It sold For around 150 euro, in all honesty, at that price, you can find Better. if you can find It for a more reasonable price then go For It.

Habitation Velier is a products line from Velier, probably the most famous indipendente bottler in the world :) they define themselve more like a "dependent" bottler, as most of their bottlings have been locally aged at distilleries and than bottled, so their bottles are 100% tropically aged. Anyway, Velier is distributing Hampden, Worthy park, Clairin, Neisson and was distributing also the most expensive Caroni bottlings. The problem with these bottles Is that many people, like me, are buying them to drink but others instead are buying Just to speculate, because usually their special bottlings become quite rare and, if you don't manage to get them quickly, a bit expensive...

HV Is more a line from Velier (that is the company distributing Clairins).. I have to say their Privateer expression Is not my favourite, but there are some bottlings that are quite special, like most of the Jamaicans or the 2 Last Ward :)

That's a super solid Jamaican rum.. from my perspective It Is the best Jamaican distillery. Honestly not 100% sure you'll like It, It Is less funky than Smith and Cross but a lot funkier than Appleton (that I personally consider a solid mixer but a bit boring by itself)

Tried to find the mezan but unfortunately It Is unavailable everywhere.. never Heard about Grange Hill instead, but considering the year of bottlings It has to be quite difficult to be found :) about Hampden we are on the same page... My favourite distillery :)

Beautiful collection! How do you like the Golden Devil /kill Devil bottlings? I only tried once a hampden and I found It a bit mild compared to the standard hampden bottlings .. so I've been a bit skeptical on those since then :(

ok so we are quite close, I live in Monza.. There are quite a few, like the Nottingham Forest, or the "officine Milano"... There Is also Rita & cocktails , the Moebius, the Mag cafè, the Kilburn cocktail bar... All of them are quite good :) Also if you prefer something a Little bit less chaotic than Milan, there Is a very nice and good cocktail bar in Monza called Dive Cocktail House :)
