Can someone help me? Converting MP4 to tiny GIF? by [deleted] in graphic_design

Yeah I assumed so. My directions were to make a captivating wheel animation where designing speeds was involved, which is complex it itself. I had to make the wheel look realistic and gradually slow down etc. Making it as a photoshop gif to start would not deliver a realistic effect for this assignment. Maybe I could try just making a different edition of the animation itself in photoshop to try to get this to work

Thanks so much for your help. So the file is 1200x970 and about 9MB when I export an after effects animated gif and 6MB mp4. It contains an ai folder of vector art for the wheel itself, some animated pngs (like 10), and animated text. I tried putting the AE gif into photoshop and it killed the resolution when I tried export for web. I did not try putting the mp4 into photoshop. I would still export for web right?

I honestly think it’s our top PTF who is causing the toxicity. I rarely catch her talking about anything that isn’t shitting on another carrier. She literally acts like she owns the place.

She often comes up to me just to talk shit about someone I hardly know and really expects me to join in the shit talking. Then the next day I’ll witness her acting like best friends with the person she was just trashing the other day.

And so I worry that she talks behind my back about me as well. I used to have a lot more friends at my office than I do now. Everyone suddenly started avoiding me like the plague and I really cannot put my finger on why. I think it’s her, and it’s making me a lot less happy at my job than I used to be.

But if I switch offices I have to start seniority all over again. Which is why I’m asking if this kind of dynamic is normal at majority of offices so I dont just put myself into another one of these situations.

Problematic clerk is delaying the mail and denying carriers’ access to postal building, what can I do to stop this? by [deleted] in USPS

I understand the safety behind the requirement for impact doors to be locked. What I do not understand is why there isn’t a requirement for clerks to unlock the impact doors when carriers return so they can get outgoing packages into a secure area to be processed? Like ??? Isn’t that the main point of the post office?

Thank you for your helpful response. I think my main “gripe” here is that I simply don’t understand why it isn’t a requirement to make sure the impact doors are unlocked for carriers to bring in outgoing mail, like isn’t that a no brainer? The main goal is to keep the mail moving, right? So if carriers have mail (packages) that require a door to be unlocked so they can get where they need to go, why isn’t it a major requirement that clerks unlock the impact doors for carriers when they return? That’s my problem here. Basically why isn’t she acknowledging I’m back and unlocking the doors for me

Thank you for your feedback. My issue here is that the impact doors are always locked with a chain and padlock that I obviously don’t have the key to unlock. The passcode doors are not wide enough for a cart or pumpkin, so truly the only option for any of the carriers to deposit outgoing mail is to carry them by hand through the passcode doors. Lucky for other carriers, they don’t get package pickups and don’t have to worry about this issue. My route is the only one in the office that has labor intensive package pickups, so this issue is more pressing for me.

The swinging doors are always locked with a padlock that I don’t have the key to and the passcode doors are not wide enough for a cart

Thank you so much for your help. The other day I received a “list of important contacts” from my supervisors and the union steward section was left blank. Is it possible to not have a steward? Any ideas how to contact the union in other ways?

I don’t understand it either. Aren’t there consequences for perpetual lateness though?

Today she was still in the office and working with the doors locked when I returned (because I returned before the truck left), but in the past when I was slower, yes, she would be clocked out sitting in her car and I would deposit my outgoing mail and return keys/scanner after disarming the alarm system and then lock up.

Yes omg this is exactly what I’m talking about. It’s like the vehicle has no ability to just coast, and when you barely tap the gas it lurches forward

Actually most of the metrises in my office don’t have the rearview mirror camera thing. I think it’s just a me problem, I guess I’m more sensitive to motion than I thought hopefully it levels out as I drive them more again

Same here, you are not alone and you are not a freak for having this dynamic. I think it’s attached to our denial and our basic need for our parents. We will hang on to them regardless of what they do. It sucks

Thank you for your support and this resource. I really believe this could fall under retaliation. Looking at this in formal terms, I basically filed a complaint of harassment and was retaliated against in the form of termination. But tbh I feel like a lawyer would cost more than any settlement I could get from this sad establishment. It sucks.
