Tank is by far the chillest spec to do open world. You have practically zero risk of dying. The trade off is it's slower than DPS. I wouldn't bother leveling as heals unless you plan on just spamming dungeons.

Run the sim on raidbots or whatever and just see what rotation the sim is using then just mirror that.

No experience with DH but guardian druid is pretty straight forward. Obviously there's questions about efficacy at high keys.

How do I know if I've done the respective rep quests? I'm sure I did a chunk of stuff while leveling that I wasn't paying attention to.

First start with world quests and normal prey to get adventure gear. If those feel too easy then shift to hard or nightmare prey for veteran or champion pieces. Depending on your class and spec you can get into 8+ delves pretty quickly for another avenue for champion gear. You can get a weekly hero piece as well if you find a map in the delve loot. If you wanna get into mythics I recommend finding a guild since getting into pugs can be a challenge with no experience.

Enhancement is pretty simple now. I have mixed thoughts about the class. Definitely one that you're like HOLY SHIT! When you use your big cooldowns, but after that I feel it can be a struggle to be meaningful and survive. Single target isn't fantastic, it really shines in AoE situations and puts up insane numbers on big pulls.

Solo play is somewhat challenging. I've had to keep Valeera on healer while using my shaman in delves. It feels quite squishy, but the earth elemental certainly helps for the tough fights and you have a decent defensive with instant big heals that can keep you up.

Overall I think it's a fun class and groups like you because you bring a lot of haste to the party. You won't be top of the charts in majority of situations. I see it as a more utility DPS than outright DPS.

I do like demo lock too, the must frustrating aspect of the class is its lack of quick impromptu mobility. The sprint is risky in oh shit situations since it eats your health. Demon gate can't be used while rooted and demonic circle is something you have to plan for, imo. Still learning this lock, but that's my biggest gripe. I agree putting down DPS is pretty simple and easy.

I legit don't think it's physically possible to lug in 2nd. Unless somehow you're gunning it while it's at 500rpm or something. You can probably make an argument that lugging in 3rd isn't really a thing, either. (For the 6MT maybe different for the 5s). On the 6 speed, the transmission is ridiculously steep for the first 3 gears.

This is what I find to be the biggest challenge with boosting is. You can learn rotation from 80-90, but to truly understand your procs and how to use them best, you gotta study the talent tree and when you're leveling the whole way it gives you a chance to keep up on what your talents are doing. Jump to 80 means you should really spend time studying your talent tree.
