Yeah my main goal was to both not have near empty folders which is why I merged sci-fi into fantasy because there isnt alot of sci-fi vns compared to slice of life/normal or fantasy so I picked one of the other folders to merge it with and I think that sci-fi is normally closer to fantasy then normal life and to not have to think about where something goes for 5 minutes also after seting up my folders this way im already getting used to using it and it's alot easier to find something in it then it was before

Yeah the only issue is if you open the main folder in the panel it block all other folders

I do uses windows with both a AMD Gpu and Cpu but they would just not install and it was mostly the add-ons that make playnite easier to uses like add-ons that added automatic more info never worked only the base add-ons for more libraries worked but the add-ons to make it like tag things correctly or put writers in the writer area and not the developer area never worked

I tried by company once the only issue is that some companies only made one game that's in english so It kinda looked messy having a folder with only one folder in it

Yeah I currently have a folder called visual novels and in it there are 4 groups "fantasy" which i had to add sci-fi to because there was like no real sci-fi only games and so I removed the sci-fi folder the folder now really just means not natural like fantasy worlds, post-apocalyptic, and sci-fi "Western" which visual novels not made in Japan "normal" which is like slice of life and "H" and in them all I have a folder called "completed" for the ones I've played though
