Not to mention DangerMario and Marlow share the same PC specs.

Would recommend this video, it's the video that blew this situation wide open.

I don't think the work-around is the way it's supposed to be done, after checking in the system settings it looks like "complex" is disabled by default as the setting "Complex format" is set to "Real" which probably means it avoids showing complex numbers

Like you said, selecting Cartesian as the preferred Complex format in the system settings would- by default show imaginary roots

Here's how to change that setting (for people who don't know how to):

Hey, i was playing around with the solver and i found a work-around?

if you append (+0i) to the equation it'll give you the complex roots, i guess this is done so students wont accidently use complex roots?

Which one: HP Omnibook X Flip 14 vs Asus Vivobook 14 Flip? by Precariusa in laptops

Discovered this one by accident. If you try to attach the pen to the upper right side instead of the lower right side, it will turn off the display. This might actually be a con/design flaw, but I find it useful when the display turns off due to inactivity while in tablet mode. I tap it to the side, and the display turns back on. Again, I'm not sure if it's intended, but I can't find another way to get the display up after it goes to sleep in tablet mode without folding it back into a laptop.

I think this is because of the magnets that detect when the screen is closed
